Young Man Needs Job

He was employed at Taco Bell for over 15 years. He is very friendly and personable. He now has a son of his own and is trying to get his life back on track. Unfortunately, he has a felony on his record and this precludes his opportunities for jobs. Right now, his car is broken down, so he would need something on a bus route or close by in Independence.

Pray for Abbey Ferco

Our daughter, Laura VanBiber from VA, just called me. Her friend’s 3 year old daughter, Abbey Ferco, has been diagnosed with Leukemia. Joe is a Black Hawk helicopter pilot stationed on board a ship and Patty is pregnant with their third child. We are asking for prayers for total and complete healing through the Stripes of our Lord Jesus Christ. Please pray for Abbey, Patty and Joe, and the family and add them to your prayer chains. Thank you.

Please also pray for my sister in Christ, Loreeta Jones, who will have surgery on Friday to remove cancer in her uterus. Pray for total healing.

Job Openings at Aeroform

They are looking for someone who can be useful in all departments. They manufacture fiberglass and urethane products. This is physical and dirty work. They are looking for someone in the tooling department. Welding experience would be very useful. You need to know how to measure too. They are also looking for a trimmer for the urethane department. They usually hire a woman for this job. They would be trimming urethane parts, like basketball edge guards etc.

The warehouse people are a little rough and they mostly all smoke.

Dear folks,
Thanks to the kindness of some friends, I was able to raise the necessary funds needed to send Randy to Liberia. It is a crucial need for him to go over there at this time, as Sis Etta is now bedridden, in severe pain, with a medical situation that cannot be treated in Liberia.
Randy will evaluate the situation and hopefully be able to arrange for her to travel to another country for medical help if needed. He will be able to stay there for 3 weeks and will be able to implement a number of projects that are needed to improve the life of our children in that far away country.
If you would like to send a letter or card to Etta ( I know she would love getting them ) or a note to the children please send them ASAP, since Randy will be leaving here on February 20.
Prayers for Etta, the children and Randy's safe trip are appreciated.
Thanks for caring and sharing your love with the kids.

Love and God bless,

Verle Cronish Update

Brothers and Sisters,

Brother Verle Cornish has received some difficult news about his health. He has been battling cancer since last summer. In December he had surgery, and the doctors thought that they had gotten most of it, and with a little bit of radiation treatment they could take care of it. Two weeks ago Verle began to feel pain in the upper part of the leg. Testing showed that it was a blood clot. The doctors placed a filter in his upper leg to contain the clot from reaching the heart. The surgery was successful and they took some other tests. Thursday, Verle got the results. The cancer, after the body was opened up from the original surgery spread to several parts of the body. The doctors are not encouraged at all by this. A report was circulated that he had brain cancer. This is not true. He is cognitive.

Next Saturday, February 12th, at CPRS/Waldo Ave. we will be having a special prayer service on behalf of Verle. During this service Verle will be administered to by the elders. The time will be 1PM. There will be meditation music at 12:30, and a short song-service at 12:45. The prayer service will begin at 1. All of you are invited. If you can not be there please pray on Verle's behalf. His one desire is that he complete what ever it is the Lord desires for him to do here on earth, and have the time needed to accomplish it. Let us keep Verle and the family in your prayers.

Please announce in your branches Sunday.

God Bless,
Richard Neill
