Hill Cumorah Photo Needed

We are looking for an old photo or postcard of Hill Cumorah which shows the hill from a little distance with the word "CUMORAH" spelled out in shrubbery near the top of the hill.

The photo/card might be a black and white, and it may even be a winter scene with snow on the ground. We would prefer a photo with grass and leaves on trees, but that may not be possible.

We would need a good scan of the photo--not the photo itself--to use in Restoration Voice magazine.

Please contact Paul Ludy at 816 210-8450 or PaulVLudy@gmail.com.

Thanks!

The Truth About Cancer

I know I've posted this before but I can't emphasize the importance of this information!!!!!! As the stats go right now, 1 in 3 of us will die of cancer! If you're young and think that this can't happen to me, think again!! 100% of us will experience a loved one, relative or close acquaintance that will have a bout with cancer that will prove to be fatal! This documentary is proof positive that cancer is preventable and curable!
This episode, #8 is way up in the series of 9 but is significant in giving a good perspective of the gist of the information presented throughout the whole series. Watch the whole thing, then go back to the first episode and watch the whole series. Your life could be changed and possibly saved, plus the lives of the people you share it with! The whole series is free! Will Only cost you the time you choose to devote to your own and your loved ones health, EDUCATION and welfare.

Yours in Christ

Young Adult looking for affordable place to live

Hi there!

For the last 2 months I have been looking for a place to live that I can afford but have failed to find anything cheap enough for me to survive on. I have also exhausted all attempts at finding a roommate, as several either don't make enough money or already have their own roommates. The max rent cost I am looking for is $300 a month. I don't mind renting a room in a house if need be. I have a steady full time job and am not loud at night which should be too much trouble for those that enjoy a quiet evening. I am also interested in studio and one bedroom apartments (nothing over 400).

Spaghetti Dinner Fund Raiser

“GOD, PROTECT YOUR PEOPLE EVERYWHERE”

“MARK OF HOPE.”

ULTIMATE HOPE.

Christians in Iraq and Syria have had their homes and

businesses marked by ISIS with a red (above you see it in

gold) painted Arabic N which stands for Nazarenes, an

Arabic word for Christians. It was used as a symbolic

message to Christians to convert to Islam, pay a fine, or die.

But what the JIHADIST intended for evil, the Body of

Christ has reclaimed for good. It is now used for a symbol of solidarity with the persecuted Christians forced to flee their homes. What the Islamists “mean as a mark of shame, we must wear as a mark of hope…”

It will take some donated funds to get these

Christians out of harms way and relocated into countries where they can begin a new life and worship freely. At this point the US has only committed to helping the Muslim refugees. Jonnie Moore and former CIA are meeting secretly with Christian Leaders in Syria and Iraq carefully vetting Christian families who need to escape. They are working to obtain legal documents and passports to safety outside the US. SCRB would like to assist in this project. We want to prayerfully approach this project and act NOW before it is too late.

Taking An Integrative Approach…

VITAMIN C. Vitamin C is very powerful, and

Acting as an antioxidant, Vitamin C can slow the

progression of hardening of the arteries. Vitamin C

acts on cell membrane fluidity (keeping arteries

flexible), and helps in tissue repair. Vitamin C may

help prevent oxidative damage to LDL (“bad”)

cholesterol which, if damaged, can form a plaque in

the arteries, putting both men and women at risk for

cardiovascular disease.

It is also interesting to note people who have low

levels of vitamin C may be more likely to have a

heart attack, stroke, or peripheral artery disease.

Each one of those, alone or in combination, has as a

primary causative factor a hardening of the arteries.

Peripheral artery disease, in particular, has gotten a

great deal of media attention lately, occuring in

both men and women with sedentary lifestyles.

WHAT IS THE ISOTONIX ADVANTAGE?

 Before anything can be absorbed into your body it must be broken down to an Isotonic state.

 Iso means ‘same as’. Our body recognizes the Isotonix supplements as the same osmotic

pressure as our body fluids such as blood, sweat and tears.

 Isotonix is a PH Balanced delivery system and the advantage is rapid absorption time of 5 to 15

minutes. In this short amount of tim, a high concentration of nutrients meet the cellular

receptor points and quality nutrients enter the blood stream.

 Our formulas come in powder form and are mixed with water to become a liquid vitamin.

 They are recognized by the stomach as isotonic and go into the intestine for immediate delivery

into your system.

 Your body doesn’t need to digest the vitamins and minerals.

 Market America’s Isotonix supplements ensure rapid absorption into the cells with little to no loss

 So, educated consumers maximize the money they spend!

TABLET verses ISOTONIX – It’s not about what you eat, it’s what you absorb!

 The biggest difference is tablet forms of nutrients can be difficult to dissolve and absorption is

drastically reduced due to the slow breakdown in the digestion process. (40 minutes to 4 hours)

 Many nutrients never leave the stomach as potent as they may have been before consumption

because binders, coatings, fillings, lubricants, and artificial ingredients result in a low

concentration of nutrients and slow the absorption process.

 ISOTONIX ARRIVES AT THE SMALL INTESTINE ABSORPTION SITES WITH LITTLE TO NO

DILUTION. It is the SOLUTION for high absorption of quality nutrients!

 Isotonix gives you broad-spectrum nutrients to help enhance all body systems including

hormonal and immune systems.

CPR (Concerned Priesthood of the Restoration)meeting Nov 7th 2015

Good Day Brothers of the Priesthood of the Restoration,
I wanted to be sure to get the word out early enough so that all the Priesthood (Particularly those from the Independence area) can set this on their Calendars and spend part of the Saturday with the Lord and with other Concerned Priesthood of the Restoration. I truly hope to see many of you there!! :)
Normal attendance is anywhere from 10 to 20 priesthood - that which is outside of the Independence area... This is a very small representation of the Priesthood in the Independence area for such a meeting that has the strength of material and the level at which these classes typically dig down deep into the scriptures as the group seeks a fuller understanding of the Lord's Gospel... However this time I hope to see 100+ Priesthood members in attendance! Schedule in your calendars from 8:00AM - 1:00PM or so. Let's get the word out and spend part of a day together in worship and study! Please forward on this email to other Priesthood members!

There are a couple of great classes lined up which I would presume most Priesthood may be concerned about in today's world.
1.) The Gifts of the Spirit: Why do we or do we not see them in the Church of Jesus Christ TODAY??
2.) Prophecy in the Church Today: Zion, "That which is to come", and "The Restoration of ALL things"

God Bless each of you men of the Priesthood as you continue in your ministry to establish the Cause of Zion in whatever part of the vineyard you are found to be in.
Have a blessed start to the week!

Your Brother in Christ,
Mark McCormick
Gen. 7:23 "...And the Lord called his people, Zion, because they were of one heart and of one mind, and dwelt in righteousness; and there were no poor among them!"

+++++++++++++++++++++++

Morning everyone – there has been a topic change – it looks like a good one.

Thx,
Brian Turner

Afternoon – I am attaching the meeting announcement for the classes Nov 7th – please pass along as you see fit.

October 9, 2015

Faithful Priesthood of the Restoration Branches / Groups

I am writing to remind you about our November 7
Farview Restoration Branch
Church, 1104 E. 24th St. South, Independence, MO (24th and Vermont).

Farview will be having their Men’s breakfast starting at 8 a.m. on that day – even if you are fasting for the meeting it is a great way to fellowship. There have been great conversations during this time of fellowship.

Prayer & Testimony will start the morning beginning at 9 a.m. Lasting as long as the Spirit leads us then moving into the classes.

Two classes are being prepared for your edification:

The Gifts of the Spirit - Why do we or do we not see them manifest today in the Church of Jesus Christ?

Prophecy in the Church Today – Zion, “that which is to come", and the Restoration of ALL Things"

So many times when we come together we are incredibly blessed by the Spirit and leave with a renewed spirit.

The purpose of the CPR (Concerned Priesthood of the Restoration) is simple in that we do not promote, endorse or adhere to any Faction or group, but we are Priesthood that feel the need to hold on to the basic principles as when the

RLDS Church was established and have been lost. There is a real need within the Priesthood body to understand the very basics of the Gospel and how we can move ourselves to being open for Endowment type of experiences and to bring a ministry to those in the outlying areas.

Today as we see more and more turmoil all around us – we need to come together and learn from each other so that we may be ready for that day when Christ returns and we can be the servants that brought tenfold!

Ephesians 4:12-13
For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ;
Till we, in the unity of the faith, all come to the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ;

D&C 50:6a
Wherefore, he that preacheth and he that receiveth, understandeth one another, and both are edified and rejoice together;
Men of the Priesthood, if there is a subject that you have been blessed in as it relates to strengthening the Church we would enjoy the opportunity to have you share with us.

Yours in Christ

How to Live and Survive When Your Country Enters an Economic Collapse

How to Live and Survive When Your Country Enters an Economic Collapse

The sequestration of the United States budget is an indication that austerity has come to the United States. In my previous posting, I suggested that the United States might have 2 or 3 years before it slides into an economic collapse. I hope it doesn’t occur, but nothing to me suggest that things are improving in the global or national economies.
So what do you do if your country enters an economic collapse? How will you survive? How will you feed your family? Here are some suggestions.
