Sister Betty Lou Young passed away at age 84 years on January 15 in her sleep at her daughters home here in Independence Missouri. Betty was a long time member of South Crysler Restoration Branch.
She also attended more recently Cornerstone Church in Blue Springs Missouri

Betty Lou Young, 84, of Independence, MO, passed away Sunday, January 15, 2017, at her daughter's residence.
Cremation is planned; with a private memorial service to be held at a later date.
Betty was born September 16, 1932, in Muskogee, Oklahoma, to Oscar and Viola Mae Bullock. She graduated from high school in Oklahoma and had attended Graceland College. She owned and operated a restaurant in California prior to moving to Independence in 1973. Here she worked for J.D. Reese before she retired. She enjoyed spending time with her husband traveling and oil painting. She was a member of the South Crysler Restoration Branch.
Survivors include a daughter, Susan Bass and husband, Fred, of Independence, MO; a son, Stillman Young of Florida; a sister, June Yurdana of California; 8 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.
