Pray to end abortion - Pro-Life events details

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Sadly, this Sunday marks the 44th year since the wrongful decision of Roe vs Wade. Through out our country people are joining together in prayer to pray for the end of abortion, please join them. Here are a few events:

Sun., Jan 22nd, 2 pm-3 pm, Temple Lot Prayer Vigil, 200 S. River Blvd, Indp. MO, contact Steve & Ellen Bishop, 816 650-3588, dress warm (forecast is 46 degrees), children under 12 must stand with parents, bring chair if needed

Sun., Jan 22nd, 6 pm-7 pm, Community Prayer Vigil, extending south from the corner of Noland Road and 24 Hwy to the Planned Parenthood office at 815 N. Noland Rd., Indp, MO, contact Terry Howen 816 836 0830, dress warm (forecast is 41 degrees), children under 12 must stand with parents, bring chair if needed, please do not park near Subway or block their entrance

Fri, Jan 27th, 12:00 (Noon), Join us-Let our Voices Be Heard, US Federal Court House, Illus Davis Plaza, 400 E. 9th Street, KC, MO 64106, contact 353-4113, dress warm (forecast 38 degrees)

Fri, Jan 27th, National March for Life, Washington DC, follow event on, just pray for event, to late to catch the buses

February 4th, Sat.,10:00, Midwest March for Life, march begins at St Peters Church with 10:30 am rally at the Capitol Rotunda, Jefferson City, MO, for more info

March 14th, Tues, "Show Me Life" Pro-Life Action Day, Jefferson City, MO,10:00 am, 1st Floor Rotunda, Missouri State Capitol, Jefferson City, MO, come lobby your legislators for life, Missouri Right to Life, usually carpools are available, for more info see this website

Prayer requests;

Pray for the Kingdom to come; that mothers and fathers choose life; that adoptions can process timely; that purity will be maintained for our youth; that those who are wounded from past abortions can heal, that abortion will not be considered a solution for sin; that Jackson County will no longer have the highest per capita abortion rate in the state of Missouri; that Planned Parenthood will not be able to establish more clinics in Missouri; that our state legislators will pass pro-life legislation; that our new Governor and new President will support pro-life legislation and appoint pro-life judges and that legal abortion will end!
