New Ransomware Hit Globally Friday!


Once again there was a major threat that started Friday via email that was Global and spread extremely fast.

PLEASE DO NOT OPEN OR CLICK ON ANYTHING YOU ARE NOT EXPECTING!

We have very good utilities in place to stop most threats but since there are so many new threats created daily it is impossible to stop everything. Most of the new
ones are coming in via email and try to trick you into clicking on a link or opening an attachment.

PLEASE BE CAREFUL!

Below is what hit Friday:

This was escalated quickly! For those of you who did not read any news on Friday, you need to know that a massive tidal wave of malware just struck.

The culprit? A piece of ransomware, called WannaCryptor but also going by Wanna Cry and Wcrypt, has been spreading rapidly.

Unlike most encrypting-type malware, this one has wormlike capabilities, allowing it to spread by itself.

As a result, it has spread very quickly indeed. This is what victims see:
