From: Paul Gage

Greetings Dear Saints,

Today, Friday, June 30, 2017 was the final day of the 2017 Restoration Branch Family Reunion and Conference of Restoration Elders (CRE), and WHAT A DAY IT WAS!

The Spirit of the Living God was among us and upon us throughout this reunion and was especially present in the classes and sermons during the week, as well as the priesthood worship services and general prayer services each day.

Thursday and Friday, the Elders spent time in discussion as to ways their ministry can be enhanced as well as those many things that distract them from their duties and also keep the Saints from being in obedience to God's commandments as we should. Sessions of mighty prayer were entered into and the Holy Spirit was very much present. In my opinion, this was one of the most highly spiritual reunions and conferences I have attended in many years.

I would suggest that everyone take some time very soon and watch the livestreamming of the evening services. Elder Karl Anderson from Oak Grove RB spoke tonight with power from the Lord and reminded us that the CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST is not broken, but rather it is we, the Saints, who are broken and need to be healed, by coming to the Lord. He also shared, from a personal experience, that the fulfilling of the parable of the Ten Virgins, as recorded in Matthew 25, is close at hand and that we must be ready, with oil in our lamps, when we hear the call, "Behold, the Bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet Him." If you want to know what the oil is, read D&C 45:10b.

Ministry of music was presented by a quartet called, "One Voice" and also Seventy Juan Reyes from Mexico.

I would like to invite anyone who has attended a reunion or camp, or branch activity to share your testimonies to be considered for the next Tidings of Zion. Please send it by email or document to Paul Gage at and use Times New Roman, font size 12.

The Deadline for items to be submitted is JULY 8, 2017 or earlier. For those attending camps or reunions in July, send in your testimonies as soon as possible following the event.

We are also looking for 1-3 people with good English, grammar, proofing and computer skills to serve on the Publication Council of the CRE. If interested, please contact me at the above email address.

God bless and keep you and God bless America!

In Christ,
Paul Gage
