Shirley Ann (Turton) Reid (82)
Born August 25, 1953 and Jesus took Shirley Home April 12, 2018
Parents Lawrence and Irene(Adamski) Turton both Deceased. She Graduated from Corfu, NY High School June 1953. She was married to Russell Reid July 31, 1953. Shirley sang in her school choir and church also doing solos and duets with her best friend Hazel(Malory) Green and sister Renee. She taught church School from the age of 12. Together she and Russ directed Church Youth Camps where she led Campfires.
She is survived by her husband of nearly 65 years and her sister Renee(Turton) Lane. Russ and Shirl adopted four children still living L. Thomas Reid, Gail Jean (Reid) Fenton, Charles P. Reid, Tammy Lynn Reid. There are five Granddaughters Crysta Fenton, Kelsey Fenton, Jennifer Reid, Jessica Reid and Nicole Reid.
A visitation will be at 10:00 a.m. and Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m., April 28, 2018 at Missionary Restoration Branch (3415 Elsea Smith Road, Buckner MO) conducted by Elder Brian Mundy.
In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to assist with funeral expenses.
