DREAD VS. BRIGHTNESS or DOES JESUS WANT US RUNNING SCARED?

There can be opposing motives for leaving Babylon and seeking God’s Kingdom on the earth. One is fear (“Men’s hearts failing them for fear and looking after those things that are coming on the earth…” Luke 21:26). The other motive is the seeking for fulfillment of one’s purpose and potentials while working cooperatively with others to turn this mission which God has given us into a thriving city or large region. Fleeing from Babylon because it will destroy you is not as much fun as running toward that which will provide security, true happiness, true purpose, freedom from hate and an atmosphere of heavenly cooperation. The scriptures have given us examples of heavenly living on earth from the beginning. They have given us signs of the last days, encouragement to love and obey The Lord, role models, samples of Godly peoples and instructions on how to shed our egos, shed our prejudices and work lovingly and respectfully with others. This world of clear and robust happiness and fulfillment is not a nebulous fairy tale. It is bold and real because God created it. The only way it can fail is if we fail.

The kingdom can’t be built by fear. It must be built by faithful expectations and by the unwavering faith, hope and vision placed in us. Zionworks, as a gathering of like-minded individuals, exists to help you and all who will choose brightness to make the difficult transition from dread of the dismal, perilous and collapsing world we live in to the world of secure peace, joy and freedom. How does Zionworks propose to assist in this huge enterprise? By offering encouragement, instruction, cooperative work and fellowship in Christ’s love – by helping to draw together all who seek to live by Kingdom principles and by encouraging recognition of and love for those who Christ calls his children wherever they are. And by maintaining an inventory of all the skills and resources available and willing to build the Kingdom, and applying those skills as directed by Christ.

REPORT

The last meeting may well have been the most remarkable meeting yet for revealing accounts of the power of the Spirit beginning to move across the globe and for authentic prophetic accounts of God speaking to his people with recognition of the times we live in and instruction concerning what we will see and how to conduct ourselves. It was certainly a remarkable experience and an amazing privilege to have been there.
