Another Disaster in Malawi and Mozambique

Another Disaster in Malawi and Mozambique

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

I apologize, as I know some of you who receive this email have already donated and you may get caught up in more than one email blast, but please bear with me as we try to raise funds to help restore those who had very little to begin with and have lost it all.

There has been another terrible disaster in Malawi and Mozambique. The fourth devastating flood in the last five years.

Four of our brothers and sisters (church members), Victor age 10, Dorecca, age 11, Christina, age 63 and Francisco, age 35 perished in the flash flood that struck Madalitso in Malawi and Nampinga and Milanje in Mozambique. Other villages suffered, too, but we have branches in these three villages and 45 church families had their homes completely washed away by the flood. 2 church families had their homes severely damaged. Keep in mind there is no insurance and practically nothing in the way of government relief.

Victor and Dorecca were sleeping at their Grandmother’s house in Madlitso, when the flood swept all three of them away.

In Milanje, Francisco rushed home to save his family from the flood, not knowing they had already escaped to higher ground. When Francisco made his way through rushing water into his home a tree fell and crushed the house and Francisco was drowned. Francisco leaves his wife Fatima and 7 year old Cristina, 10 year old Banito and 14 year old twins, Abdula and Anifa.
If you would like to help the 47 church families that were devastated by this flash flood, please send your tax deductible donation to;

Please make your check or money order to JCRB and please put Disaster Relief in the memo.

Your brother and servant,

Randy

AN OPPORTUNITY TO HELP THE SAINTS IN AFRICA

70 FAVORITE RESTORATION HYMNS has been developed to provide words only for all Saints who can use this resource. However, its first objective is for the Saints of the Restoration in Africa.

This softcover hymnbook is 7" wide and 8.5" high. It contains 70 familiar hymns in 32 pages. The text of the hymns is 12 point Arial, which makes it easy for most people to read. The hymns are in English, which will allow people who speak various languages to sing the hymns of the Restoration with fellow Saints around the world.

This hymnbook is going to the printer today with an expected delivery early in May. We are ordering 4,000 copies.

If you would like to assist in providing these books to African Saints, please send your donations by May 15, 2024, to African Restoration Ministries (ARM) c/o Shaun Turner, Treasurer, 3519 S. Crysler Ave., Independence, MO 64055. Write “Hymnals” on the memo line. Any funds in excess of the amount needed for hymnals or received later than May 15 will go to the ARM budget.

After the “Hymnals to Africa” emphasis is completed, 70 FAVORITE RESTORATION HYMNS will be available from Paul V. Ludy & Associates at a cost of $5.00 each. Saints and friends may preorder now for future shipment or delivery; email to PaulVLudy@gmail.com and tell the number of books you would like.

Zionworks News May 3rd, 2024

DREAD VS. BRIGHTNESS or DOES JESUS WANT US RUNNING SCARED?

There can be opposing motives for leaving Babylon and seeking God’s Kingdom on the earth. One is fear (“Men’s hearts failing them for fear and looking after those things that are coming on the earth…” Luke 21:26). The other motive is the seeking for fulfillment of one’s purpose and potentials while working cooperatively with others to turn this mission which God has given us into a thriving city or large region. Fleeing from Babylon because it will destroy you is not as much fun as running toward that which will provide security, true happiness, true purpose, freedom from hate and an atmosphere of heavenly cooperation. The scriptures have given us examples of heavenly living on earth from the beginning. They have given us signs of the last days, encouragement to love and obey The Lord, role models, samples of Godly peoples and instructions on how to shed our egos, shed our prejudices and work lovingly and respectfully with others. This world of clear and robust happiness and fulfillment is not a nebulous fairy tale. It is bold and real because God created it. The only way it can fail is if we fail.

The kingdom can’t be built by fear. It must be built by faithful expectations and by the unwavering faith, hope and vision placed in us. Zionworks, as a gathering of like-minded individuals, exists to help you and all who will choose brightness to make the difficult transition from dread of the dismal, perilous and collapsing world we live in to the world of secure peace, joy and freedom. How does Zionworks propose to assist in this huge enterprise? By offering encouragement, instruction, cooperative work and fellowship in Christ’s love – by helping to draw together all who seek to live by Kingdom principles and by encouraging recognition of and love for those who Christ calls his children wherever they are. And by maintaining an inventory of all the skills and resources available and willing to build the Kingdom, and applying those skills as directed by Christ.

REPORT

The last meeting may well have been the most remarkable meeting yet for revealing accounts of the power of the Spirit beginning to move across the globe and for authentic prophetic accounts of God speaking to his people with recognition of the times we live in and instruction concerning what we will see and how to conduct ourselves. It was certainly a remarkable experience and an amazing privilege to have been there.

There is a sweet little French Bulldog named Shady who was brought to Pawportunity as a breeder release. He has a medical problem that will require surgery. He has a severe sliding hiatal hernia. Everytime he eats, drinks or gets a treat his stomach slides through his diaphragm and into his esophagus causing him to regurgitate. He also has aspiration pneumonia from the severity of the regurgitation. Through donations they have raised $1647.00 towards the $5500 required for the surgery. The poor little guy deserves to have a life without suffering. If you would like to help by donating, even a few dollars, it would be greatly appreciated. You may donate through their web site pawportunity blue springs mo scroll down to About Us, it will take you to the donate page. If you are unable to donate, please pray for him. Thank you.
