John 12:31-36 # 438 We’ve a Story to Tell to the Nations
Now is the judgment of this world; now shall the prince of this world be cast out. And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me. This he said, signifying what death he should die. The people answered him, We have heard out of the law that Christ abideth forever; and how sayest thou, The Son of Man must be lifted up? Who is this Son of Man?
Then Jesus said unto them, Yet a little while is the light with you. Walk while ye have the light, lest darkness come upon you; for he that walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth. While ye have light, believe in the light, that ye may be the children of light. These things spake Jesus, and departed, and did hide himself from them.
We've a story to tell to the nations, that shall turn their hearts to the right, a story of truth and mercy,
a story of peace and light, a story of peace and light. For the darkness shall turn to dawning,
and the dawning to noonday bright, and Christ's great kingdom shall come on earth, the kingdom of love and light.

Revelation 15:3
And they sang the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvelous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints.
We've a song to be sung to the nations, that shall lift their hearts to the Lord, a song that shall conquer evil, and shatter the spear and sword, and shatter the spear and sword. For the darkness shall turn to dawning, and the dawning to noonday bright, and Christ's great kingdom shall come on earth, the kingdom of love and light.

Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? For thou only art holy; for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest.
We've a message to give to the nations, that the Lord who reigneth above has sent us His Son to save us, and show us that God is love, and show us that God is love. For the darkness shall turn to dawning, and the dawning to noonday bright, and Christ's great kingdom shall come on earth, the kingdom of love and light.

How oft have I called upon you-by the mouth of my servants, and by the ministering of angels, and by mine own voice, and by the voice of thundering’s, and by the voice of lightnings, and by the voice of tempests, and by the voice of earthquakes and great hailstorms, and by the voice of famines and pestilences of every kind, and by the great sound of a trump, and by the voice of judgment, and by the voice of mercy all the day long, and by the voice of glory, and honor, and the riches of eternal life-and would have saved you with an everlasting salvation, but ye would not!
We've a Savior to show to the nations, who the path of sorrow has trod, that all of the world's great peoples may come to the truth of God, may come to the truth of God! For the darkness shall turn to dawning, and the dawning to noonday bright, and Christ's great kingdom shall come on earth, the kingdom of love and light.

Hearken, O ye people of my church and ye elders, listen together, and hear my voice while it is called today, and harden not your hearts; for verily, I say unto you that I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the light, and the life of the world-a light that shineth in darkness, and the darkness comprehendeth it not.
Christ for the world we sing; the world to Christ we bring with loving zeal: the poor and them that mourn, the faint and overborne, sin-sick and sorrow worn, whom Christ doth heal.

Christ for the world we sing; the world to Christ we bring with fervent prayer the wayward and the lost, by restless passions tossed, redeemed at countless cost from dark despair.

I love to tell the story of unseen things above, of Jesus and his glory, of Jesus and his love. I love to tell the story because I know it's true; it satisfies my longings as nothing else can do. I love to tell the story; 'twill be my theme in glory to tell the old, old story of Jesus and his love.
