Reading the Scriptures in One Year

A few years ago I received a listing of the scriptures that could be read each day whereby one could read the three standard books of scripture in one year.

I was thinking of sending a copy of this list to some of my "loved ones"; but, I cannot find that copy.  If anyone has a copy of this list of scriptures, please forward a copy of it to me.

As a parent educator and coach, I have found that there are many times when parents struggle with how to show love to their own parents or in-laws when they feel overridden or undermined.  

This doesn't have to be and by setting reasonable boundaries and working together, you can find ways to involve your children and their grandparents in lots of fun activities and make memories without the stress and contention.    This short video will give parents a plan to work it out and hopefully find peace.

Dear Brothers,

This is a reminder to sign-up for the January 9, 2021 priesthood education Zoom class.In order to participate in the class you must register. To receive the classStudy Guideprior to the class, please register by January 6, 2021.Those registering after January 6 will receive theStudy Guidethe day of the class. The class is intended for any and all restoration priesthood members, but may be particularly beneficial for those who have been recently ordained. The details of the class are as follows:

Class Focus:                         The Purpose and Nature of Priesthood: An Introduction
Date & Time:                         January 9, 2021 from 9 AM to 12 PM Central Time (US and Canada)

Background Information:
At the 2020 CRE the action below concerning priesthood education and training was passed. A group of interested priesthood began to meet in July to discuss how to implement the approved action, and a priesthood education committee was established in September. The committee has been meeting on a monthly basis and has identified a loose plan of action on how to develop and make available priesthood education that support the needs of restoration branches. As a first step, the committee decided to host a virtual priesthood education class in January. 

Resolution on Priesthood Education/Training

Therefore, be it resolved, that this conference commissions the Coordinating Council to form a committee to organize efforts to educate any individual whether he be in the Priesthood or a “called” candidate,

And be it further resolved, that said committee will have the oversight to recommend instructional materials and instructors for the education of the Priesthood,

And be it further resolved, that said committee will organize multi-session classes offered quarterly for each priesthood office, deacon through elder, either virtually (Zoom) or in person,

And finally, be it resolved, that said committee report periodically to the Coordinating Council, and also to submit a report annually to the Conference of Restoration Elders.
