She was a faithful servant of Jesus. She was a cornerstone of several congregations of the Community of Christ as we moved around the country and was ordained an evangelist in 2004. She also loved gardening, making quilts, puzzles, and working on ancestry, She had the opportunity to visit Alaska, Hawaii, Europe several times, the Caribbean, and several countries in northern South America and Central America. She loved to visit a resort in Cancun where we held a membership and where she made so many memories.
She was selfless beyond measure, a calming presence, full of joy, supportive, and a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother,
Glenda is survived by her sisters, Janet Houx and Sharron Pierson; her husband, Ron Chiles; her son Shannon Chiles and his wife Kristen, her son Evan Chiles and his wife Julie, her son Jared Chiles and his wife Stephanie, her son Jon Chiles and his wife Linsie, 12 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
