Hello friends,
After days of prayer and writing, the computer or the document program selectively deleted vital portions of the newsletter. I have now spent more than ten hours trying to recover and reconstruct it. It was full of vital and exciting info. Fortunately I have it saved on an email to myself, but it is not in its final copy or proof-read and my ability to stay awake and get it all ready to send is depleted and I don’t trust this computer for one more try at this time. Here’s an idea and I think it is a good one. I will save its contents to present and discuss at this coming Sunday’s meeting, including a video or two. It truly is an exciting topic (Powerful Prophecies Today) and an exciting prophetic time to be alive. So I am looking forward to a very interesting and productive time at the meeting including some interesting discussion and exchange of ideas in addition to the necessary items we must tend to for moving Zion to the fore for Christ and his pure-in-heart. Spread the news of Zion and invite friends. Here are some upcoming events to look forward to:

Catherine Eileen Fox - Obituary
Catherine Eileen Fox
November 21, 1965 — March 18, 2025
Catherine Eileen Fox passed away peacefully on March 18th, 2025. Cathy was born on November 21, 1965 in Independence, Missouri to Nancy and Walter Fox.
She graduated from Lakeview Woods State School (a special education public school for the disabled) in the class of 1987.
Cathy was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ restored in 1830 a branch from the RLDS Church. She was baptized and raised in a family in the faith.
Cathy was a loving aunt, sister, and daughter. She grew up with her nieces and nephews and great nephew. She was taken care of by her mother Nancy Glauner and her niece Angel Fox for several years before her health required a fully-equipped care facility. Cathy loved to spend her time coloring in her coloring books, watching her shows from Scooby Doo, The Three Stooges, Life in the ER, and the Golden Girls. She loved listening to music on her CD player and humming along with tracks from Celctic Women and Luciano Pavarotti and her hymns during church. She loved spending time with her family and looked forward to her weekly outings riding in the car through the countryside and taking in all the views around her small hometown. She touched the hearts of so many. She was a child in a woman's body full of nothing, but love and just pure genuine happiness. She was a light in the lives of all of those who knew her.
Cathy is survived by her sister Sarah Sieker, her nieces and nephews: Axle Fox, Angel Fox, Annie Fox, and Angus Fox, and her great nephew Aeden Smith, her aunts Carol Cain and Linda Doran, her stepsiblings on her stepfather’s side Raymond Glauner, Mark Glauner, Tommy Glauner, Diana Herald, and Deborah Steinke.
Cathy is preceded in death by her Father Walter Fox, her step father Nolan Glauner, her mother Nancy Glauner, her brother John Fox Sr., her nephew John Fox Jr, her aunt JoAnne Benjamin, her uncles Harry Hilsinger Benjamin and John Masten, and her grandparents George and Mary Gee.

LIVING IN THE KINGDOM OF GOD MARCH 27, 2025
Greetings, in Jesus Name, to the Saints everywhere,
While it appears, at least for the Center Place, that March will go out like a lamb, it also appears that the Kingdom of God on earth and the world are being savagely assaulted as mentioned in I Peter 5:6-11. “6 Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time, 7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. 8 Be sober. Be vigilant because your adversary, the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour; 9 Whom resist, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. 10 But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you. 11 To HIM be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.
We know that the world and its inhabitants are in dire straits, all of which has been prophesied. Those who have knowledge of the Restoration and have access to the Inspired Version of the Bible, the Book of Mormon, and the Doctrine and Covenants, have a great stewardship to fulfill as we “live in the Kingdom.” We have opportunities to show the world that there is a better way.
As we are into the time when we remember the last week of Jesus Christ on the earth, we, of all people, must grasp the true significance, not only of events of that week, but the entirety of His life on earth in the flesh. How else can we show and or tell others of the Way, the Truth, and the Life, as Jesus defined Himself in John 14:6? How can we be “in the world, but not of it, as we are instructed in DC 128:8?
We must seek the Lord, Our God in all our doings so that others will notice something different and unique about us. Not for our praise, but to glorify God. We must be willing to witness of Jesus Christ and what He meant and means to us today. The world is being devoured by the adversary and he has many helpers. We must be extremely careful that we do not assist him in his destructive work. This can easily happen, if we are not tuned to Jesus. As we sing in the song, “It only takes a spark to get a fire going.” So it does not take much to act, react, speak, etc in the wrong way. We must demonstrate the fruit of the Spirit so others may see Jesus in us.
We hear people say, “I wish the Lord would tell me (us) what to do.” Do we not have three books of scripture and untold revelations telling us what we should be doing? Would a real soldier prior to going in to an actual battle ask his commander, what am I supposed to do? Of course not, the soldier had been trained to know what to do when engaging in battle. A true soldier daily examines and cleans his weapons so he has confidence in them when needed. We must put on God’s whole armor every day as directed by Paul in Ephesians 6:10-20. The battle belongs to the Lord! Though we cannot avoid the battle, let us remember whose army we are in and who our Great Commander is, even OUR LORD AND SAVIOR, JESUS CHRIST.

LIVING IN THE KINGDOM OF GOD MARCH 20, 2025
Second Peter 1:1-11 Inspired Version
1:1 Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus
Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the
righteousness of God and our Savior Jesus Christ: 2 Grace and peace be
multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, 3 According
as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and
godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and
virtue, 4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and
precious promises, that by these ye might be partakers of the divine
nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
5 And besides this, giving all diligence, add to your faith
virtue; and to virtue, knowledge; 6 And to knowledge, temperance; and to
temperance, patience; and to patience, godliness; 7 And to godliness, brotherly
kindness; and to brotherly kindness, charity. 8 For if these
things be in you and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be
barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 But
he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and
hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins. 10 Wherefore the rather,
brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure; for
if ye do these things, ye shall never fall; 11 For so an entrance shall
be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and
Savior Jesus Christ.
Peter was speaking in a very straight forward manner and
not trying to make a play on words. His counsel is just as appropriate for us
today as it was then and has been down through the ages.
We all know that charity is defined in Moroni 7:52 as the
pure love of Christ. Pure means not mixed or adulterated with any other
substance or material. Pure is free of any contamination. Pure means wholesome
and untainted by immorality. Pure is spotless, stainless, free from harshness
or roughness.
All these definitions of pure fit only one person who
ever lived on this earth, and we know who that was. Our Lord and Savior, Jesus
Christ who endured every effort by all He came into contact with, even His own
apostles, and remained PURE.
If we had nothing more than the scripture above and the
two great commandments, we would have sufficient guidance to do what God has
asked us to do. There has been many questions recently about “The Promises of
God.” What is the promise for obedience and disobedience in the above
scripture?
In our process of “Living in the Kingdom of God,” and
waiting for Jesus to come in His Glory and establish His True kingdom, do we
individually, as families, and as the Body of Christ have these aspects of
Kingdom living abounding in our daily walk? What is the promise if we are
abounding in these qualities? What is the promise if we are not? To help us in
this regard, we might want to go back and read about the beatitudes in Matthew
5:1-14. Make sure you read it from the Inspired Version as there are significant
differences from all other translations.
Next week the Conference of Restoration Elders will work
with the theme: “New Wine in New Bottles.” This scripture is found in Matthew
9:22-23 and Mark 2:19-20. There is actually a song out entitled, “New Wine.”
Pull it up and read the lyrics. Every day of our lives, as God gives us the
breath of life, He is asking us to examine our own life and see if we need to
put new wine in us and become a new bottle filled with the Pure Love of Christ.

WOUNDED
Pray for those who are spiritually wounded by evil people and by misguided, misunderstood and presumptuously applied religion or beliefs. Without Jesus and without your prayers, these folks cannot muster the strength to go on on their own. Pray for all people in distress. Love with all of your heart. Love is inexhaustible.
Remember our direct interaction with Jesus is the reality he places in our souls and at our call. Kindly remind each other of Who it is that we owe our allegiance to. Jesus is our maker, redeemer and director – a plain and simple fact not to be obscured by any contrary influence. It is also a fact that when spiritually drained and emotionally exhausted, it is perpetrated by the adversary. This, unfortunately occurs in our families and among friends and associates as well as from more easily recognized evil. It is also a sure sign that the adversary is actively working to destroy the love and hope that God has placed in you and the assignments he has given you. In these cases, we know that God’s strength is infinitely more powerful than anything people or the adversary can inflict you with. It is a sure sign that your assignments are divinely appointed and that you are entrusted with them. Then if you seek God’s strength (which may take all of your strength and endurance) he will revive you to boldly accomplish your mission.
Call out to Jesus when in despair. Seek out true friends who will help you bear your burdens. True friends in Christ are capable, loving and willing to do this.
GOD SAID
God said to the Israelites that they could leave Egyptian captivity and he told them how. It may not be recorded whether he provided a warning of the hardships and grief that would have to be endured, but we do know something about the rebellions that occurred once they started enduring the desert. Many wanted to return to captivity. The vision of the Promised Land became obscured regardless of the reinforcing miracles that took place along the way. A generation perished for lack of vision and determined commitment. At least, in the beginning, they had the good sense initiative to prepare for and start the risky journey.
God said that once we have set our hand to the plow, not to look back.
Once, God said to assemble a large army. Now, every combatant has a lively awareness of the odds of survival he faces. God has a lively awareness of the true commitment in the heart and soul of each soldier. He tests this commitment. Once he tested it by the way his soldiers drank from a body of water, and the major majority of them failed the test. The remnant, possibly too few to really be called an army, miraculously conquered a mighty army.
Once, God said that the world had become unrecoverably evil and that he would destroy it by flood. He saw to it that the people would be warned and preached to for 120 years and even saw to it that a huge vessel would be engineered and built as a means of escape from the deluge. This ark was also a visual testament to the populace that believers had the good sense initiative to build it. Why? Because God said. Without the believers’ initiative, it would never have happened. Out of a population of millions, eight people responded. Eight from among millions – we can only guess what ridicule, discouragement, slander, rejection and threats they endured until God shut the door.
God said to get out of Babylon. In scripture, he describes the conditions that will exist on the world when that time will be ultimately expedient, and obviously when it will be too late. For many of us, the time to take personal initiative is already too late – too late to simply coordinate our commitments to the Kingdom and coordinate our gifts and talents to build the community to house Christ’s spiritually and physically needy. God said he will find a people who will. They will get the work done. All of our big talk about Zion over the last 195 years will be revealed as bluff very soon unless somehow the few with personal initiative to coordinate our gifts and skills gather under Jesus’ terms to prepare and start the risky journey. We must keep our eyes on God’s goals for us and keep moving regardless of any obstacles.
Understand this; none of this that has just been said in any way negates the truths of the gospel we have been taught, and still seek, in our homes and churches. Personal initiative, not comfortable conformity, is intended by God to be the outgrowth of our true Christianity while the joys and benefits of fellowship still thrive. The gathering of these people can only be one of joy in each other because Jesus can be the only true initiator and director of his kingdom on the earth. In fact he said that when he returns that there will be no king or ruler because he will be our King and ruler. This is always true in His true gatherings at any time. He said that when he returns, there will be no laws but his laws. Can any situation be happier or more attractive than that?

It will contain facts and insights to further our concepts and understanding of the Kingdom. Invite others: Throughout the last 5 years, the Lord has been teaching me about the Kingdom and lessons that can be used with new believers or those who need encouragement. The lessons have illustrations like the parables Jesus used. I have come to believe that they are to be taught to others so when we encounter children who have not heard and people with limited English, they might understand. I'm planning to teach them in Africa, but would love some practice with adults. I am wondering if your group would be interested a lesson or two that they can tuck into their readiness preparations. >>> >>> Becky Stayton
