Faithful Priesthood of the Restoration - Study Class November 6, 2021

To the faithful Priesthood of the Restoration Branches / Groups

I am writing to remind you about our November 6th 2021 meeting that will be
held at Farview Restoration Branch Church, 11404 E 24th St S, Independence, MO 64052

We will start the day with a period of Prayer & Testimony followed by classes.

Agenda:
9 a.m. – 10 a.m. Prayer & Testimony – Praying for our People and our Nation.
10:00 a.m. – 11:30 p.m. Class 1 – Build the Kingdom
11:35 a.m. – 1:00  p.m. Class 2 – A Few Thoughts about sin

In an earlier installment of Oakman Thoughts,
Brother Oakman provides us with a challenge and a reading
and homework assignment:
Read Doctrine and Covenants 45, paragraphs 1 and 2.

Brother Oakman states: "They are extremely significant."

In this segment, Brother Oakman continues with a few more of
the criteria of and the promises made to those who are
ever looking forth for the Time of His Coming!

Again, the invitation to consider a couple of verses from
Doctrine and Covenants 45, verses 1 and 2 (and the introduction).

What makes them significant? What makes them relevant to us?
What makes those words - some 17 verses and lets also
include the introduction:
"To the joy of the Saints who had to struggle against
everything that prejudice and wickedness could invent,
I received the following";  what makes them so
important and significant, as Brother Oakman states.

So, I invite the men in the church
to read and study and consider these two first paragraphs of Section 45;
bring your understandings, bring your references,
bring what the Lord puts upon your heart -
and let's come and reason together.
Study Class November 6th 2021 at:
The Church of Jesus Christ
Farview Restoration Branch
11404 E 24th St S, Independence, MO 64052.
Prayer service at 9:00
classes/conversations to follow.

We have 3 days to prepare.  I will volunteer to take
the introduction and verses:  Sec. 45: 2 g & h.
You pick a couple of verses and bring your efforts and
we can begin to fulfill
what the Lord has said in many places:
"Come, let us reason together."

Be the Widow's Might

From: Alicia Negaard

Be the Widow's Might

"Be the Widow's Might", is a part of African Restoration Ministries.  It provides relief to the widows of Africa.  Usually, the fund provides job training and financial support to the widows.  Lately, it has also been helping with medical expenses related to Covid.  Please come and do a little Christmas shopping with dozens of Restoration vendors.
The food is good.
The company is lovely!

Washing Machine Needed

Washing Machine Needed

Hello saints, My wife and I are needing a replacement washing machine as replacing the timer is not cost effective. They "just don't make them like they used to".  Doesn't need to look good, just work good.
