Dear Saints,
It has been made known to many of us that our brothers and sisters in Christ have found themselves trapped in a cycle of high interest consumer debt. In some cases, our friends continue to pay on these debts with zero progress, making the banks wealthy while our family and church suffer, financially.
You may have heard rumors of an initiative called Freedom Stewardship Ministries that is designed to break the chains of bondage between our families and financial institutions. I would encourage you to take 45 minutes out of your busy day and watch the presentation that Bob Dickson gave at Living Hope, last Sunday. Regardless of whether you have consumer debt or not, please consider the merits of this project and see if it reflects the principals of the Kingdom that we were charged to assist in establishing.
