In the March 28th newsletter, in the first sentence of the 2nd paragraph, the term “auspices” was used instead of the intended term “license”. That mistake entirely inverted the intended message. A good synonym for auspices is “advocacy” or “endorsement”. Most churches, as we like to think of them, advocate for Christ and his message and endorse his gospel. So, to have used the term “auspices” was a huge mistake.
