Three Separate Jobs - Household Cleaning / Snow Removal / Handyman

Household: Looking for honest and OCD about clean, type person for two units in the Truman Historic District. A one bedroom and a two bedroom. The units will be fully furnished short term on AirBnB, VRBO, HomeAway, Zillow and/or corporate rentals. Washing and changing of linens along with cleaning interior windows as necessary and exterior patio door(s) will be required. After each guest leaves they will be reviewing us on the internet. It will be of utmost importance to maintain a 5 Star rating of excellence. Just one poor rating deters future bookings. The guests are great, but they will also be picky, even holding us accountable for the weather at times. Some things may seem unreasonable, but just understand that this is the business. We will still be the best and create a wonderful place people will rebook when they have business or pleasure in Independence. Because these units are a business that I feel will reflect our hospitality it will require the utmost in honesty, cleanliness and communication to please the guests. The position will be on an as needed bases. Flexibility will be important. If you’re working a full time job and doing this for extra income, that will be great, but I will have bookings that are back to back and need your cleaning skills as soon as one guest leaves to be prepared for the next guest. I cannot turn down a booking and will need a ‘can do’ attitude to make it work out. A professional security background and credit check will be completed. References required. Any questions or doubts in your background that might be viewed less than positive should be discussed in the interview so that we both can determine if this position is a good fit for each of us. For communications we can talk on the phone and/or text via SMS or iMessage. Initially, it will also be necessary to take pics on completion of each cleaning to confirm everything is in order for guests. You will be compensated as an independent contract worker and compensation will be $60 for two bdrm/$45 for one bdrm. For the credit/background check I will withhold half ($20) from your first cleaning. After 6 months of satisfactory service I will reimburse the $20. This is my first endeavor in the short term rental market and I am looking forward to it. I think it could be very enjoyable for us and our guests. Snow Removal: The person that did snow removal last year, unfortunately has health issues and so far I have managed to get by. Will need the driveway, all walkways and steps including the side walk cleared and salted/deiced. I will provide the salt/deice. Less than 6” $65. More than 6” $75. Handyman: On an as needed bases, at this Truman Historic District triplex. Handyman will need to supply own tools. Minimum $15 per call and $25 per hour. Need to reside within 10 miles. A professional security/credit check will be completed. Job history and references required.
