Kingdom Building Needs, Opportunities, and Events
Please pray and participate as you are led. The Independence Is Alive and Well Initiative and the Unity Center of Independence have the following Kingdom building needs, volunteer opportunities, and events coming up:
Removal of stored items at the Unity Center. Contact project managers listed at the end of this email to volunteer.
October 19, Team Jesus Ministry/Fellowship Day at Unity Center
7:00 – 8:00am Prayer Breakfast at the Unity Center
8:00am 3:00pm Ministry caravan to Homeless Beloveds Camps
3:30 – 5:30pm Thank You Fish Fry. All welcome.
6:00pm 37 Minute documentary film, The Champion Inside of Me.
7:00 – 8:00pm Words of Kingdom Encouragement
October 26 7:30am IIAW Neighborhood Clean Up Day, Central/Gospel Park Church, 919 S. Delaware and South Avenue,
7:30am Potluck Breakfast Briefing/Fellowship
8:15am – 11:15 Clean Up Assignments (Clean up area: S. Crysler Avenue from 23rd Street to the bridge at Lexington Avenue.
Needed Donations:
Winter coats, vests, hoodies, hats, gloves, socks, blankets for homeless beloveds. (Supplies are depleted from donations taken to North Dakota reservations.)
Funds for 2 - 40’ dumpsters – $475 each for debris removal from Unity
Effective November 1, 2019, the Unity Center will have two main project managers on site to help facilitate all volunteers, with two other special project managers. The center’s admin hours are 9:00am – 2:00pm Monday-Wednesday. Call the managers below to volunteer.
