In Memory of Sibyl Reynolds
February 23, 1942 – November 11, 2019
Sibyl J. Reynolds is now encircled in the arms of God's love. She passed from this life to Eternal Life comforted by family, at home, on November 11th, 2019, at 11:45 AM.
Sibyl was born in McKenzie, Tennessee. She was a loving wife to her husband of fifty-nine years, a wonderful mother to her three children, and a friend to countless people with whom she interacted throughout her life. She was a teacher’s aide to emotionally handicapped children, with whom she kept in contact long after her job as a teacher concluded. She also worked as a parole officer and volunteered at a Crisis Counseling Center. For most of her life, she was a homemaker, wife, and mother. Her greatest joy was being a member of the church and sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Sibyl is survived by her husband Chester, her son Eric and wife Dana and their two children (William and Vanessa), her daughter Robin and husband James and their three children (Jacob, Jeremy, and Emma), her daughter Suzanne, and her sister Mary and husband Alden and their daughter (Esther). She was preceded in death by her parents Kathryn and John Ples.
