Zionworks News May 2, 2022

  Hello saints-

We had another very good meeting this past Sunday. Actually, it was VERY interesting--packed with vital, resourceful information. Riane Marsh presented a concise explanation on the principles and operation of Zion. Her presentation served to bring our hearts and energies together for our planning and application of Zionic life.  Crystal Lavigne and family did a live demonstration on several means of finding and purifying water. Dylan Lavigne took us outside to the fire pit to demonstrate means to start a fire without matches or lighters. So, I imagine that soon he or someone will show us how to cook on it! There were well-prepared papers that accompanied the Zion and Water presentations that will be available on the website soon. We discussed the vital need for prayer and the need to follow every word that proceeds from the mouth of God, lest we mis-guide with our efforts and bring failure and disaster. There were many good ideas proposed and discussed. We were excited and warmed to meet new people and to get reacquainted with old friends. Among those attending was Ron Gamble. Ron is a doer. Many years ago, he was immersed in the establishment of the Zionic community of Nashua. I hope he will come and tell us about it, what pitfalls to avoid and how to stay goal (Christ)-oriented.

One of the goals, and now inevitable results, of Zionworks is to provide an atmosphere or environment that uplifts, encourages and unleashes each individual's desires to BE ALIVE in their desires to live for the Lord, to learn of His ways and apply those ways physically as well as spiritually.  We have discovered that a person's spiritual dedication to Jesus Christ and his everlasting gospel is happily integral with the desire to live in physical Zion. So in our meetings, as we put our desires to the labor test, we also hear many spiritual desires and spiritual expressions! Something to remember about Zionworks: "Zionworks" is simply a name given to people cooperating in their dedication to the establishment of the actual Zion. We know that Zion will be built upon celestial principles. These principles of Christ-like love must not be compromised or Christ will not take our efforts to  himself. So, we cannot assume that our efforts in Zionworks should be any less than what Christ desires. What we're discovering is that we can be excited and quite comfortable working together for the Kingdom on the earth. We also recognize that we are all human and fallible and choose to love and respect each other. We should probably expect to have some falls, and get back up or help each other get back up.

There are many areas of life and industry necessary for a culture that lives for Christ and independent of the current socio-economic structure. We are presently dealing with both the present-urgent-emergency need for survival, yet also the establishment of an ongoing long-term "city-state" with its own infrastructure. In our meetings, we have been focusing on the immediate needs to be prepared for survival of the coming food chain disruption, supply chain collapse, water disruption, monetary collapse, government inversion, violence, invasion and biological warfare.  God has the short-term and long-term plans pre-planned for us (in his terms: "My people I will preserve"), however requires of us some real investment or sweat equity in prayer, planning and cooperation to discover, apply and live by his plans. Also, just as he has given each of us the individual stewardship of personality, he has given each of us the means to apply our individual, cognizant best to this work.

Next meeting: Sunday, May 15th, Atherton congregation, 2:00 pm, starting with potluck for those that would like  to have a meal together. I am looking forward to seeing and hearing what we've done and how, and to further planning and implementation. Meanwhile, remember to STOCK UP NOW on short and long-term food, gardening seeds and supplies, and find an off-grid source for safe water. Pray about these and about getting out of debt as you pray about the entire realization of Zion.

Please tell others about Zionworks. If you would like to know about Zionworks, pray, and email zionworks@protonmail.com

Still coming soon is our website which will contain much good information.
