This fundraiser allows ALL boys to participate and have uniforms. There is no "fee" for Kingdom Journey because of this fundraiser. You can order burritos from a Kingdom Journey member at your branch. If you do not have a member at your branch, contact Kingdom Journey at: scrb.kj@gmail.com +++++++++++++++++ Trailblazers – Ages 11 through 18 Hikers – Ages 5 through 10 Who are we? We’re a Christian based, Restoration based group seeking to be a positive influence in shaping boys into Godly men. What do we do? We teach respect for all of God’s Creation through exploring the great outdoors. We set an example hoping that not only will generations of boys adhere to the straight and narrow path but that they will surpass us in their diligence and faithfulness. What do we want? We want these boys to become men but more importantly to become leaders, leaders in their families, leaders in their communities, but most importantly leaders in the church. We want these boys to strive towards God’s kingdom here on Earth, to be an integral part of it’s establishment and lead others to Him. What can you expect? Activities: Whether at the weekly meeting that will begin September 13th, 7pm at South Crysler Restoration Branch or at weekend overnights, the boys will engage in fun and challenging activities. Some of the activities we are planning to offer this year include: Canoeing, Fishing, Self-defense, Pinewood Derby, Farm life Advancement in skills. Many badges called “markers” are now ready. These will be earned by the boys who learn and demonstrate the tasks associated with the skill, the markers can then be sewn onto the sash to be worn with his uniform. Markers to be earned include: First Aid, Knot Tying, Outdoor Cooking, Scripture Study, Prayer Journals, Swimming and Survival. You can also expect classes on Church History, The Priesthood Offices, Word of Wisdom and much more. +++++++++++++++++++ MENU Gluten free wraps available on request. Breakfast Burrito – Start your day off right Turkey Bacon, Scrambled Eggs, Cheddar Cheese and a Flour Tortilla Mountain Man – Our most popular Ground Beef Sausage, Scrambled Eggs, Potatoes and a Flour Tortilla Standard Burrito – Cannot go wrong Ground Beef, Refried Beans (Vegetarian), Cheddar Cheese and a Flour Tortilla Apple Chimi’s – Let’s just skip to dessert Apple, Cinnamon, Sugar and Egg Roll wrapped Southwestern – mmm…Steak Steak, Potatoes, Cheddar Cheese and a Flour Tortilla Vegetarian – Not quite vegan but oh so tasty Refried Beans (Vegetarian), Cheddar Cheese, Mild Green Chilies and a Flour Tortilla Variety Pack – Deciding is hard, so don’t 1-Breakfast Burrito, 1-Mountain Man, 1-Standard Burrito, 1-Southwestern, and 1-Vegetarian Salsa – Fresh and flavorful Tomato, Peppers, some Onion, and Cilantro All sold in packs of five except the salsa. Orders and money have to be turned in by October 10, 2022. Burritos will be wrapped in food paper and packed in reusable freezer bags. Cash or check only.
