LIVING IN THE KINGDOM OF GOD JUNE 30, 2022

Blessed be the Name of the Most High God and His blessings to all the Saints of the Most High God,

Today, 2022 is half gone. We can assume that most, if not all, the turmoil, tragedies, confusion and turning away from God will continue. We should be keeping a close watch on the things happening in the world, to be aware of the “signs of the time.” I have some signs in my yard and on my van which might be indicators of the dispensation we are now living in.

“One Nation Under God.” Many would question such a statement these days, because it seems America and the Western world have turned away from God. As we strive to live a Kingdom life, what do others see in us? If we have signs in our yards, on our vehicles, or on our persons, people will expect us to “live up to” what we advertise. Leviticus 25 speaks to the concept of “Liberty” as it relates to obedience to God’s laws and commandments. Part of verse 10 is engraved on the Liberty Bell, a national symbol of freedom.

“Jesus is the Reason for the Season.” Generally we hear this phrase mostly around Christmas time, but it must be applicable to us all the time. Since Jesus is the “author and finisher of our faith, Hebrews 12:2, He then must be the reason for all the seasons, especially since He created all the seasons in their due time. That includes seasons of joy, sadness, feast, famine, life and death etc. How do we portray Jesus in our life when things are not going too well?

“We Believe This City Believes in God.” A city, in and of itself cannot really “show a belief.” It again comes back to the inhabitants of the city. How can or does a person show their belief in God in a way that would reflect that the “city” believes in God? Are we, as Saints, and believers in Zion reflecting Zionic ideals?

“Jesus Came into the World to Save Sinners.” Do we live a life that easily depicts that Jesus is our Savior? Do we “go with the flow” or do we “Stand Up, Stand Up for Jesus?” Are we ready, as we are counseled in I Peter 3:15, “But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts; and be ready always to give an answer with meekness and fear to every man that asketh of you a reason for the hope that is in you;

A quote from Daily Bread, 1970, entitled “In the Presence of Christ.” “If we make a habit of experiencing His Presence often we will find that His Way of life, His Spirit, will become a part of ours.”

God be with you
