We are reaching out to two similar non-profits in Eastern Jackson Co this month. Mother's Refuge and Baby Grace. Our next meeting and donation drive will be June 22nd at 6pm at the Salvation Army facility on 14700 E.Truman Road. Bring donations to the meeting.
Mother’s Refuge is a non-profit that provides housing, and services for homeless pregnant young women. If you are not able to make the meeting, their address is 3721 S. Delridge, Independence, MO 64052, 816-356-4797.
Mother’s Refuge is in need of these items:
· Razors
· 13 Gallon Trash Bags
· Paper towels
· Storage Containers/ Organizers
· Shorts (Girls/Womens - All sizes)
· Flip Flops (Womens - All sizes)
· Slippers (womens - all sizes)
· Party Supplies (for celebrations such as mom's birthdays, baby's birthdays, graduation party, etc)
· Robes (Womens - all sizes)
· Deodorant
· Bath Towels
Baby Grace is a non-profit group that supplies single and disadvantaged mom's with diapers, formula, clothes and wipes. Their address is 109 S. Hudson, Buckner, MO 64016, 816 226-6569.
Buckner Baby Grace needs:
All sizes of diapers and pull ups and
Wipes.
