LIVING IN THE KINGDOM OF GOD FEBRUARY 27, 2025

LIVING IN THE KINGDOM OF GOD FEBRUARY 27, 2025

Greetings to all the Saints around the world,

Two months gone already. WOW! Time, as well as everything else seems to be in a super escalation mode. It is certainly fulfillment of scriptures. For example, in Matthew 24:18-29

18 For then, in those days, shall be great tribulations on the Jews and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, such as was not before sent upon Israel, of God, since the beginning of their kingdom until this time, no, nor ever shall be sent again upon Israel. 19 All things which have befallen them are only the beginning of the sorrows which shall come upon them; and except those days should be shortened, there should none of their flesh be saved. 20 But for the elect's sake, according to the covenant, those days shall be shortened. 21 Behold, these things I have spoken unto you concerning the Jews.
22 And again, after the tribulation of those days which shall come upon Jerusalem, if any man shall say unto you, Lo! Here is Christ, or there, believe him not. 23 For in those days, there shall also arise false Christs and false prophets and shall show great signs and wonders, insomuch that, if possible, they shall deceive the very elect, who are the elect according to the covenant. 24 Behold, I speak these things unto you for the elect's sake. 25 And you also shall hear of wars and rumors of wars; see that ye be not troubled; for all I have told you must come to pass. But the end is not yet. 26 Behold, I have told you before, Wherefore, if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert, go not forth, or, Behold, he is in the secret chambers, believe it not. 27 For as the light of the morning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west, and covereth the whole earth, so shall also the coming of the Son of Man be. 28 And now I show unto you a parable: Behold, wheresoever the carcass is, there will the eagles be gathered together; so likewise shall mine elect be gathered from the four quarters of the earth. 29 And they shall hear of wars and rumors of wars. Behold, I speak unto you for mine elect's sake.”
Similar scriptures can be found in several other places in the three Standard Scriptures.

A number of surveys have found a great turning away from God and His true gospel and it is shocking to hear of things happening “In the church,” or “Christianity.” Prophecy News Watch is a free website that can keep people up to date. Recently, two very shocking stories involved a “church” having a drag queen service with several such individuals upfront. Another was a “minister” wanting to remove the word “Savior” from scriptures and replace it with the word, “Guide.” However, the Scribes, Pharisees and others were not much different as far as their acceptance of Jesus and who He really is. Though they could not deny His miracles, they felt they had to get rid of Him. Then in Acts, we find them doing the same thing to Stephen and the others. The efforts of the adversary are to divide and conquer. We must stay ever alert and ready for the return of our Lord whether it be in death or His Glory.

The faster time seems to be flying, the closer we are to the return of Jesus Christ in His Glory and in His own due time. The thing is, we must be in compliance with His laws and commandments to be among the “Elect.” In all of my recent studies, classes, sermons, etc. it all comes back to the First and Greatest Commandment. If and when we can discipline ourselves to truly love God with our all, we will receive the benefit of His promises.

Coming soon, Jesus and all His Glory Not just a Savior, but a reigning King

Coming soon and the whole world will be witness Oh be ready, for HE is coming soon

God bless,

Paul Gage

ZIONWORKS NEWS for FEBRUARY 19th, 2025

ZIONWORKS NEWS for FEBRUARY 19th, 2025

PAIN AND GLORY

The glory of the Kingdom is difficult to imagine in its fullness even though all of us do envision it to a great extent. We also pray for it, pray that we can participate, and anticipate the peace, fullness and joy shared by all. We know that it will operate on celestial principles and will radiate physical and spiritual glory for the world to see and will be a safe residence for all of Christ’s pure-in-heart. But today, outside of Zion, spiritual sickness, attack from the enemy of righteousness and the resultant injuries will and do plague us and do real injury. Often, the enemy works by attacking with sabotage and propaganda, and retreating with a deceiving or booby-trapped trail. Because the saboteurs try to protect themselves, how do you know when you are being slandered and rumored about behind your back? Should we address ruinous slander and rumor or ignore it? What is our responsibility in these cases? Is there a way to undo slanderous damage done to you or your associates? If an offender refuses to cooperate in God’s way of resolution, what then? The scriptures provide God’s clear, complete and right means of dealing with rumors, slander and other offences. He expects us to adhere to his procedures in all cases of offence. His ways are miraculous, as always. In our modern national culture and even within our modern church culture, it is common to tell our friends and others about our hurt feelings or the injustice done to us and by whom. Jesus tells that is wrong and is a form of rumor and gossip. If he says it’s wrong, it’s wrong. If we rumor and gossip, we’ve destroyed the process of resolution and healing before it can even begin. There are no caveats or excuses for distrusting Jesus’ instructions and procedures. Here is a very brief flow chart of His procedures:

If you have been offended or damaged, think you have been offended, offended someone else or think you may have offended someone: In humility go to that person and find out if offence was intended or taken. If so, work it out in Christ-like love. (If the offence violates civil or legal law, it must be reported to legal authorities.)

If the offence is not worked out in mutual Christ-like love and understanding: Go back to that person with a witness, preferably a person neutral to the issue. Remember, no gossiping.

If the issue is not worked out in Christ-like love and understanding: Bring the issue to a priesthood teacher whose calling it is to mediate in these cases.

If the issue is not worked out in Christ-like love and understanding: The teacher will refer the case to the elders. This is called an Elders’ Court.

If the issue is not resolved in Christ-like love and understanding: The Elders will make a decision or verdict based on prayer and responsible procedure which may include dis-fellowship of the unrepentant offender. Remember, dis-fellowship is still done as a right and loving action in interest of all concerned, including the protection of the flock. This is not a pronouncement of judgement on any person’s soul. That person is still loved by all and given space to repent on his or her cognizance and will be lovingly received back into the flock, without judgementalism, upon repentance and confession.

When we do things Jesus’ way, we are opening the door for him to perform miracles, which he does. If we think we are too wise to do things his way or we think our case is an exception, we are opening the door to disaster. Here is some reasoning concerning your fears in the above difficulties: In the case a rattlesnake bites you, you must forgive him, which includes loving him with a Christ-like love. Should you then reach down and pet him or take him home to your family or children? You must use responsible reasoning in protecting yourself, your loved ones and the flock. When Jesus said not to cast our pearls before swine, it was not a judgement against one of God’s creatures. It is not within our prerogative to cast judgement upon one of God’s children. Jesus analogy of a swine refers to a being who will trample your precious soul’s outpourings into the mire or indiscriminately devour that which is precious and excrete it as dung. Jesus gives us this advice to be applied in personal stewardship. Life’s stewardships don’t always come easy. They involve pain, difficulty and long suffering. It is an incredible and mature privilege to be entrusted by our creator with stewardships.

IS AN “INNOCENTLY” REPEATED LIE STILL A LIE?

An unsubstantiated bad story told about another person or group is slander. If a person-- you, me or someone else repeats that story, we have committed slanderous rumor. This practice of slander and rumor is so common that many of us think that it is a right and righteous application of the gospel. Many have come to think that if two or more of us are engaged in it, we are justified in it and protected by common consent. Many have itching ears for it. We will hear about a person or group that did something suspicious or unsaintly and accept it as fact, then without asking those who have been insinuated, repeat the rumor and think we’re righteous for it. It’s so common that we’re usually unaware that we’re engaging in it. Be reminded that this practice must be personally accounted for at judgement day, and every day. No person is protected by the excuse that it is common practice.

It seems we are on the receiving end of this practice every day. When we are on the receiving end, we feel great grief and injustice, and rightly so. The damage done by rumor and slander is so pervasive among us that its cost to persons and to Christ’s work is inestimable. Consider the cost of the rumor that the Book of Mormon promotes polygamy and other aberrations of Christ’s Gospel. Some people that repeat those lies will go as far as to tell you that God told them that the book is full of beliefs inimical to the Gospel of Christ. Millions of gullible people, possibly the majority of the populace, believe those lies to be common fact. More painfully, many thousands of people who have read it and embrace it as true and authentic scripture have been persuaded by their church that they should engage in practices opposite to its unequivocal teachings, such as polygamy. The damage that any lie or rumor can grow into, can do huge world-wide damage. Without getting reminded of any more giant heart-breaking grief or little petty heart breakers, lets each one of us resolve to never engage in any form of gullibly believing a rumor or stupidly repeating one. Realize that the power is in you to stop any lie, rumor or slander at your feet and that Jesus has called you to do it.

                                                  RESPONSES
There were a couple of edifying responses to last week’s question, “Can language reunite us with God?” They are:

Absolutely: "Therefore wait ye upon Me, saith the LORD, until the day that I rise up to the prey: for My determination is to gather the nations, that I may assemble the kingdoms, to pour upon them mine indignation, even all my fierce anger (Isa. 34:1-8): for all the earth shall be devoured with the fire of my jealousy. For then will I re-turn to the people a pure language, - Purpose - that they may all call upon the name of the LORD (talk to Him), to serve Him with one consent (one accord)." Zephaniah 3:8-9
                                               And
“The thoughts on language are so interesting!  I always wondered when words were heard and spoken in the BOM that were not able to be written if they were the pure language of Adam.”

LIVING IN THE KINGDOM OF GOD FEBRUARY 20, 2025

LIVING IN THE KINGDOM OF GOD FEBRUARY 20, 2025

Dear Saints,

Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord, Jesus Christ,

We trust God is blessing you, in spite of hardships and trials, as you continue your work, each day, in His Kingdom. As we go forth each day, we have many choices to make. The outcome of each day of our lives is a result of the choices we made. Every second of each hour offers the opportunity to choose God from some point between 0 and 100. Our choices come in many different ways, some in great proportions and some in minute measures, yet still, the choice is before us. How we respond to any situation is a measure of choosing God’s way.

In Joshua 24, Joshua was at the end of his leadership of the seemingly, always rebellious Israelites. He reminds them of all of God’s blessings of leading them out of Egypt and into the Promised Land. Joshua says in verse 15 “...Chose you this day, whom ye will serve...but as for me and my house,

________________________________________. In Genesis 6:35 God told Enoch to say unto this people, “Choose ye this day to serve the Lord God who made you.”

Mostly, the circumstances, decisions, outcomes, results of each moment can be traced to our own use of our agency. Many times we try to blame someone or something else, even God, when things don’t go our way, but in the final analysis, we have to be truthful to the person we see in the mirror.

So, how can we be prepared to always make the tight choices or decisions? Know God’s promises and fulfill our part of the promises. James 1:5 says “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.” Also consider Daniel’s response in Daniel 1:8 “But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself…”

Also, the answer which Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego gave the king is classic,”Daniel 3:16-18-

16 Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we are not careful to answer thee in this matter. 17 If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O King. 18 But if not, be it known unto thee, O King, that we will not serve thy gods nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up. Like Daniel, their choice was made before they faced the trial.

There is a story of a young child who went to their father, who was very busy. The father said, “What do you want, my child?” The child answered by saying “I don’t want anything, Daddy, I just want to tell you I love you.” Our first reaction might be one of guilt, for our thoughts go to God, Our Heavenly Father. We might feel shame at the number of times we go to God just to tell Him we love Him. We should always include in our prayers a time to praise and thank God and tell Him we love Him.  After all, we are commanded to Love him with all our heart, might, mind, and strength.

However, as important as words are, they are not enough. Our expressions of gratitude must be carried out in the lives we live, especially as we live in the kingdom of God. Our purpose for living in the Kingdom of God is so that we might be that light and salt to bring others to God.

God bless

Paul Gage
