 Proposed AI Data Center in Independence

Dear Pastors and Priesthood in Independence, Missouri,

There are two events happening in Independence that we as well as the Saints need to be aware of:

1. Primary election for Mayor and City Council. Let's seek God's guidance in this matter.

2. There is a proposal to build what is called an AI Data Center near the intersection of Little Blue Parkway and 23rd street (MO 78). This is out by the power plant on Truman Road. There are a lot of pros and cons regarding this project, as there is with everything, but I call this to your attention in case you are not aware of it. You can research it on the net as well as maybe picking it up on the Independence city website. Two of the candidates running for Mayor were at a meeting Wednesday night and they are very much opposed to the project. 

I'm sure you are aware that AI is overtaking the world. We each can make our own decisions as to how we feel about such things, but I don't think we can just sit back and let things go, since we have a God given responsibility to help build up His kingdom in the Center Place. I really don't know much about the whole project except what I heard at the meeting Wednesday night and what I have found on the net.

I am just calling these things to your attention in the event you were not aware of them.

Some of you may not live in Independence proper, but might still be affected by the outcomes.
