Family Fun Day at National Frontier Trails Museum
Family Fun Day – The National Frontier Trails Museum is holding its Family Fun Day from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Saturday. Activities for the whole family: Kids can pack their wagon for a journey on the Oregon Trail; take a wagon ride, watch a blacksmith and cooking demonstrations; visit a Civil War encampment; doll-making; candle-dipping; quill writing, gold panning, old-fashioned games and much more. Food and beverages are available for purchase. All outdoor activities are free, and museum admission is also free with proof of Independence residency.
