Update on Historic Stone Church Sanctuary Repair Needs

Here is the latest update on the historic Stone Church Sanctuary Repair needs:

Good News: Trusses are good and do not need any reinforcement. Whew, good news! :)

Bad News: Three new pics showing the issue of the water flowing between the outside stone walls and under the roof. This causes the water to flow between the roof and stone wall cascading behind the walls and causing damage internally to the old plaster walls and structure that maintains all of the stained glass windows.

There are 3 companies investigating the issue who have all determined the problem. However, as of now, not one of them has given a bid to Larry Crozier for the repair. He does not know why this is taking them so long to develop a plan and dollar amount for repair.

If you help Stone Church, there are many ways you can donate to this cause. Any dollar amount is appreciated toward saving this historic Sanctuary.

Simply make your check out to the Stone Church. In the memo section be sure to put "repair of Sanctuary fund". mail it to: The Stone Church, 1012 W. Lexington Ave., Independence, MO. 64050 ATTN: Larry Crozier
or Call the office at 816.254.2211 and ask for Kara who can process a credit card payment.
Or, drop by and make your donation in person so you can enjoy seeing the Sanctuary and the beautiful stained glass windows.
