Raising funds for Pushkal

Dear Saints,

I recall the generosity of the saints 4 years ago after the earthquakes in Nepal. Hopefully the same spirit of giving will help meet another critical need in Nepal today.

One of our pastors, Elder Pushkal Gadel, is scheduled for open heart surgery at Bangalore, India. The cost of this operation in $15,000 U.S. dollars.

Pushkal and his wife Radha have one son, Samuel, who is about 5 years old. Their home is in Fikkal, Ilam, which is located in Eastern Nepal.

Pushkal recently built a home in their village which also serves as the house of worship for the Fikkal Restoration Branch; one of the largest in Nepal. Brother Pushkal fears that it may be necessary to sell their home to pay for his surgery.

As they say, “many hands make light work.” The same could be said; many contributions, even though they may be small, will make this burden lighter.

Your contributions can be sent to:

Francis Harper, Missionary Account
521 Walker Street
Woodbine IA 51579

The funds contributed will then be wired to the Church Account in Kathmandu, Nepal.

Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity; for God loveth a cheerful giver” (2 Corinthians 9:7).

Thank you,

Francis
