Waldo August 2019 Theme
For this coming month of August, we have chosen a theme at the Waldo Avenue Restoration Branch: “Be Transformed in the Person of Jesus Christ.” The idea is that we approach every situation by asking, “Lord, help me to act in the person of Jesus Christ – as Jesus would respond if he were standing in my place.”
We have also asked for a commitment from every individual to go through the daily scripture calendar that relates to the topic and try to put it into practice every day.
Follow the link below to see the scripture calendar which includes further explanation regarding the theme. For any who wish to participate, I would encourage you to go through these scriptures in the month of August.
