National Day of Prayer

I just ran across President Trump's call for a National Day of Prayer, given earlier today.  I thought perhaps it would/should be of interest...

  "It is my great honor to declare Sunday, March 15th as a National Day of Prayer.  We are a Country that, throughout our history, has looked to God for protection and strength in times like these...no matter where you may be, I encourage you to turn towards prayer in an act of faith.  Together, we will easily PREVAIL!"     --Donald J.   I am grateful for a president who is God-fearing, and courageous to direct the American people and to bear God's name in their exercise of freedom and faith.

  The National Day of Prayer has traditionally been set for the first Thursday in May (May 7th this year).  The theme selected was (Hab. 2:14): "Pray God's Glory Across the Earth."I am thinking that Mr. Trump saw the need for prayer immediately at this time.  The video and audio of this declaration can be found online.
