Invitation to Young Families to Solemn Assembly, September 27, 2020

We wish to make a special invitation to the young families who are planning to attend the upcoming Solemn Assembly.

The Solemn Assembly that is described in the Book of Joel, is a template of how this upcoming Solemn Assembly is to be organized.  We have been directed to Joel for how we should lay out the Solemn Assembly.

It is very clear, in this Scripture, that we must be attentive to our young families, and young people.  References are made to the young men and young women, and even to small children.  We would like to let you know what we are doing in regards to this, because we very much want you to participate.

There will be many different ways to access the Solemn Assembly.  You may choose to access from your home, or someone else’s place.  You may choose to go to a satellite location that we will notify you of the locations that will be identified and made known.  We want you to know how your needs will be addressed at the Waldo/CPRS site.

The doors will open to the public at 8:30 AM.  Once inside the building you may enter into the Waldo Sanctuary.  We understand that you may have need to speak to your children and they to you.

When the Solemn Assembly begins at 9:30 AM, we will ask any late arrivals to go to the gymnasium.  There will be seating there plus livestream and Zoom.  If you have to leave the sanctuary after the Solemn Assembly begins, we ask that you not return directly to the sanctuary.  Rather, we ask that you go to the gymnasium.  The presiders at regular, periodic intervals will invite all who are in the gymnasium to reenter into the sanctuary.  You do not have to do so at that time, but you may choose another invitation to reenter.  In the gymnasium you can attend to your child’s needs – to eat, play, walk some, etc.  We ask you be mindful of the others in the gymnasium.  The purpose of the gymnasium will be for a temporary holding place.  A nursery/cry room will be also available for your use.

Please help your family understand what we are trying to do is give all honor and praise to God.  Thank you for your help.  May God bless your family.
