Prayers for Co-worker’s Son
Greetings Brothers and Sisters,
I didn’t know more until recently to be able to better share the following prayer request.
A coworker of mine has two sons who were working on a race car at one of their homes last Monday. One of them decided to test drive it.
For some reason, he was not wearing protective equipment (i.e. helmet, seatbelt, etc.) which was not typical for him. He drove down a stretch of rode at a high speed, hit a bump, went through the ditch and totaled the car into a tree.
Thankfully his brother had served as a policeman and responded quickly. An off-duty EMT also drove by and responded. Many other miracles occurred that kept him alive.
He is struggling with recovery from a lung repaired from collapse, 22 broken bones and anticipated staff infection from the ventilator tubes, which they are keeping an eye on. All the doctors agree that all the conditions are right for his healing process but he is still in ICU until he strengthens.
He was also supposed to be getting married in 3 weeks after having had to postpone the first marriage ceremony due to quarantines in March. They have postponed again due to these events.
My coworker insisted that all prayers are welcome, so I offer the request to our family of the Saints. Thank you in advance!
Your Brother in Christ,
Luke Zahniser
