Volunteer Opportunity WALDO GIVE AWAY
Hello, Initiative and Unity Center Friends,
Rebecca Griffin heads up the annual WALDO GIVE AWAY at Waldo Restoration Church and needs volunteers to help set up, work, and take down the event, beginning June 1st through June 5th. Her regular volunteers have fallen ill and can't help this year. She needs to know as soon as possible if there are enough to help, to decide if she can hold the event. There is a salad lunch provided on Saturday, June 5th, for all who help after everything is packed up.
This is a beautiful Kingdom building opportunity to serve, have fellowship, and do a good work for Beloveds and the community. The GIVE AWAYS happen twice a year, Spring and Fall. The SPRING GIVE AWAY has everything you would see at a garage sale. The FALL GIVE AWAY is only winter coats, clothing, and blankets. You can also donate items. They should be clean and in good working order, zippers, buttons, no rips or stains.
Waldo is a small, older congregation. Regular assistance would be appreciated. Address: 819 W. Waldo, southwest gym door. If you can only spare an hour of time, contact Rebecca at 816-254-0610.
