LIVING IN THE KINGDOM OF GOD MARCH 3, 2022
Hello to all the Saints around the world,
How are things going in your part of the Kingdom? How would it be different if you were in Ukraine, China, the next city down the road from you or any other part of the world. After an experience of seeing the Lord Jesus Christ, the person said, "I cannot help but think what life would be like if we lived to have His presence with us every day." As we "live in God's Kingdom," we should strive to display the presence, love and all other attributes of Jesus Christ. He did say He Is the Way.
From the hymn, "We Are Called," by Margaret E. Tucker, we find these words. "We are called to be an ensign to the nations of the world and to live the words of Jesus every day. Let us love our Lord and neighbors and live the Kingdom Way, till the light of Zion's banner is unfurled." That is our daily, even hourly task no matter who we are, where we are, our physical condition, etc.
In today's "Jesus and You in 2022" daily study guide, we were asked to read Acts 22 which tells of the opportunities Paul had to share his testimony with the Jews, the Romans, and government leaders on his way to Rome to bear witness to Caesar. Acts 22-28 tell of Paul's trials. The suggested hymn is "We've (I've) a story to tell, a song to be sung, a message to give, and a Savior to show to the world." The darkness may already be turning to dawning and the dawning to noon-day bright. Christ's great kingdom is coming soon to reality, and it will be a Kingdom of love and light. That is where we come in, if we are "living in God's Kingdom" now.
With the events going on in the world, of which the Ukraine situation is only one, and the effects those events are having in our daily lives, we must be ever more on the alert so that we might be instruments in God's hands to help any and all to find their only hope, which is Jesus Christ and the Kingdom of God on earth.
God bless and keep you
Paul Gage
