LIVING IN THE KINGDOM OF GOD MARCH 31, 2022
Greetings to the Saints of God Around the World,
We trust and pray that
God has been with each of you in your March in the Kingdom. How is your living
in the Kingdom going? There are, of course, all kinds of problems in the world,
in each of our countries, cities and towns, and life in general. However, as we
know, the return of our Lord, Jesus Christ is one month and one day closer.
It therefore becomes
each of us to daily sense what our relationship is with Jesus. I saw a man in a
restaurant today wearing a T-shirt which had a picture of a bottle of Ketchup
on it with the words, “Catch Up with Jesus.” I told him that I liked his
T-shirt and that opened an opportunity to share about Jesus. That is part of
our “Kingdom responsibility” to witness for our Savior.
As we live in the
Kingdom, waiting for Jesus to return to take his rightful place our King of
Kings, we remember how dependent we are on Him. We remember, as we enter the
month of April, what it should mean to us in regard to our lives, that is the
great sacrifice Jesus has made for each one. As He has promised that He would
return and gather those living in obedience to His commandments, He has also
promised that He would never leave us alone.
So, as we “think”
living in the Kingdom, let us remember we are “A Child of the King,” as reads
the hymn by that name. We should approach each day with the thought and feeling
that we truly are the children of God. The chorus says, “I’m a child of the
King, a child of the King, with Jesus, my Savior, I’m a child of the King.” It
is page 154 in “Hymns of the Restoration.”
God bless
Paul Gage
