Living Waters Canoe Ministry is a faith-based outdoor recreation and camping facility. We offer a clean, “dry”, approach to family camping. Our grounds can cater to groups of all sizes. Founded in 2000, Living Waters has become a staple in the region for family float trips.

Restoration Float Trip 2022 John 7:38 – He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.

The event will be held at Living Waters Canoe Ministry:  www.livingwaterscanoe.org

We plan to have a Worship Service Saturday evening and a Sacrament Service Sunday morning. There is also access to the river for anyone wishing to be baptized.

The campsite has offered us a group rate of $72 per person (children 6 and under are free). This price is all inclusive (campsite, canoe rental and meals Saturday and Sunday). We are currently working on fundraisers to help reduce that cost even more. We are asking other branches to help with their own fundraisers to help the entire group.

Accommodations:

Tipis: “Ozark-Famous” Tipis overlook miles of rolling hills and of course the beautiful Lake Niangua. Complete with six sleeping mats, and its own deck and picnic table. These tipis are the ultimate way to camp!

Tree Huts: For those who want all of the excitement of camping, but want a solid floor under their feet, the Tree Huts are perfect for you! Complete with mosquito nets, privacy curtains, and a DOOR! These quaint cab[1]ins are great for families and sleep up to six campers.

Eagle’s Nest: Stay a night floating a few feet from the ground. Our cozy Eagle’s Nests are built with mosquito nets and privacy curtains to help keep pests out and your family in. They comfortably sleep up to four with room for a furry friend!

Tent Camping: This is for those who want the good old-fashioned experience of pitching a tent and sleeping under the stars.

Our Story

My wife, Nikohle, and I came up with the idea after we were named the leaders of our branch’s Adult Group in 2019. While thinking of activities for our group, the thought of a float trip sounded fun. But we felt led to take it further. Not just for our branch but, to invite ALL Restoration Branches. Then COVID put a stop to the planning and group activities were put on hold. Our hopes now, are to make this an Annual Event, for the first weekend of June. We picked Living Waters Canoe Ministry because it is a Christian based campground. And, they have their own section of the river. Thus, we avoid the party goers.

Thank you for considering the Restoration Float Trip!
