AUSTRALIAN RESTORATION NEWS
JUNE 2022

AROUND AND ABOUT THE CENTRE PLACE
By High Priest Paul J. Gage, of Independence, Missouri

June Greetings to the lovely Saints of Australia,
Here we are, already, approaching the mid-point of 2022. Like the last two or three years, it has is a year to remember. Though the virus is still affecting many people and some Saints, restrictions are easing, and things are much more relaxed than last year. However, this may just be a false effort so we will wait and see what the rest of the year holds. Regardless, we know we must continue to trust God for all things and not be fearful of the things of the world. God is in control even as He was in the beginning.

All the Branches in the Independence area and throughout the USA are back to meeting in person, though many continue to live stream for those still not able to get out. Summer camps and reunions are planned to start in late May and early June and go through the Summer unless something comes up along the way to block the plans. The first two reunions, both here in Missouri, start June 4th and 5th. Saints in the Kirtland, Ohio and Maine areas will be able to have their reunions again this year as the COC has reopened their campgrounds.

The Conference of Restoration Elders (CRE)/Pastors of Zion (POZ) reunion is set for June 19-24, 2022 It will be held at Center Place Restoration School (CPRS)/Waldo Avenue Restoration Branch in Independence, Missouri. The main theme is: "Take Upon You the Name of Christ and Run the Race" More information can be found in the Tidings of Zion, Issue 138 and on the CRE website. Most of the services will be live streamed.

The POZ will be hosting the annual “Summer Series” each Sunday evening from June 12 and running through August 21, 2022. These services will also be live streamed. Services are held at CPRS/WALDO AVENUE RB

Center Place Restoration School has been back in full session for some time and will be completing its 30th year of service to the Restoration Saints. This year will be completed around May 28, 2022. You can tell time is sneaking up on you when students I had when I was at CPRS now have children who are graduating.

Several things are happening in the Center Place. A program called, “Independence is Alive and Well” is active in trying to improve various conditions in and around Independence. People from various churches, including Restoration Branches are involved. Six or more Restoration Branches have been meeting together on the first Sunday night and third Wednesday night of each month since August 2021. There have been some very good services. Another effort for revival in the Restoration will be held Friday and Saturday, May 13-14, 2022 There will be preaching, singing, worship and prayer involving a variety of people around the Restoration.
The missionary groups are still active with African Restoration Ministries (ARM) completing a two-week mission trip to Africa May 11-25, 2021. Elders Brian Mundy and Shaun Turner, from Missionary Restoration Branch were there. Brian Mundy and Henry Trickett, from West Virginia are currently in England and Germany. Elder Andrew King from Independence was recently in Honduras.

I want to commend the Priesthood and Saints for the Team sessions. The services and ministry have been very good. The CRE continues to have the Zoom services each week though most Branches in the USA are back to meeting in person. We can thank God for the technology and expertise of those who make the Team sessions possible.

May God continue to bless each of you and keep you in His tender, loving arms.

Love to all, Brother Paul

RICHES FROM THE SCRIPTURES
By Elder Neil Kerswell, of Queensland, Australia

HE IS RISEN, HE IS RISEN INDEED.
By Elder Murray Broughton, Kelvin View Branch, Euroa, Victoria

Acts 1:2 Until the day in which he was taken up, after that he through the Holy Ghost had given commandments unto the apostles whom he had chosen;
3 To whom also he showed himself alive after his sufferings by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God;
4 And, being with them when they were assembled together, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me.
5 For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence.
6 When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?
7 And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power.
8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you; and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
9 And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.
10 And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel;
11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.
12 Then returned they unto Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is from Jerusalem a Sabbath day's journey.
13 And when they were come in, they went up into an upper room, where abode both Peter, and James, and John, and Andrew, Philip, and Thomas, Bartholomew, and Matthew, James the son of Alpheus, and Simon Zelotes, and Judas the brother of James.
14 These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren.
15 And in those days Peter stood up in the midst of the disciples, and said, (the number of names together were about a hundred and twenty,)

Acts 1:23 And they appointed two, Joseph called Barsabas, who was surnamed Justus, and Matthias.
24 And they prayed, and said, Thou, Lord, which knowest the hearts of all men, show whether of these two thou hast chosen,
25 That he may take part of this ministry and apostleship, from which Judas by transgression fell, that he might go to his own place.
26 And they gave forth their lots; and the lot fell upon Matthias; and he was numbered with the eleven apostles.

Acts 2:1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it rested upon each of them.
4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
5 And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven.
6 Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language.
7 And they were all amazed and marveled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galileans?
8 And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born?

Acts 2:14 But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words;
15 For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day.
16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;
17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams;
18 And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy;
19 And I will show wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapor of smoke;
20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood before the great and notable day of the Lord come;
21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Acts 2:36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.
37 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?
38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.
40 And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.
41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized; and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.
42 And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.
43 And fear came upon every soul; and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles.
44 And all that believed were together, and had all things common;
45 And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need.
46 And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,
47 Praising God, and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

The Scattered Saints

Prescribed by the Great Physician

The next time you feel like GOD can't use you, just remember...
Noah was a drunk
Abraham was too old
Isaac was a daydreamer
Jacob was a liar
Leah was ugly
Joseph was abused
Moses had a stuttering problem
Gideon was afraid
Samson had long hair and was a womanizer
Rahab was a prostitute
Jeremiah and Timothy were too young
David had an affair and was a murderer
Elijah was suicidal
Isaiah preached naked
Jonah ran from God
Job went bankrupt
Peter denied Christ
The Disciples fell asleep while praying
Martha worried about everything
The Samaritan woman was divorced, more than once
Zaccheus was too small
Paul was too religious
Timothy had an ulcer...AND
Lazarus was dead!

Now! No more excuses!
God can use you to your full potential.

Besides you aren't the message, you are just the messenger.
And one more thing...Share this with a friend or two...
In the Circle of God's love, God's waiting to use your full potential.

1.God wants spiritual fruit, not religious nuts.
2.Dear God, I have a problem, it's Me.
3.Growing old is inevitable .. growing UP is optional.
4.There is no key to happiness. The door is always open.
5.Silence is often misinterpreted but never misquoted.
6.Do the math... count your blessings.
7.Faith is the ability to not panic.
8.Laugh every day, it's like inner jogging.
9.If you worry, you didn't pray . If you pray, don't worry.
10.As a child of God, prayer is kind of like calling home everyday.
11.Blessed are the flexible for they shall not be bent out of shape.
12.The most important things in your house are the people. 13 When we get tangled up in our problems, be still. God wants us to be still so He can untangle the knot.
13.A grudge is a heavy thing to carry. 15 He who dies with the most toys is still dead.

Dunn Family Baptisms - By Sister Merran of Wauchope, New South Wales - Australia

Saturday 12th & Sunday 13th March 2022 were blessed days in the Dunn household. The angels in heaven rejoiced ,the path just begun. The children Charlotte and Malachi Dunn were taught and had accepted that Gods desire for their lives was that they have FAITH be repentant and be baptised to prepare their lives for a journey of obedience to Gods laws. This journey if they held fast to Jesus precious gospel would lead them to Gods Kingdom. Many family members were in attendance and aching hearts for those who were not present. May Our Heavenly Father bless us all as we endeavour to do His will in these troubled times and May we hold FAST TO THE ROD OF IRON ,THE WORD OF GOD. AMEN

Game Family Baptisms April 2022
On Sunday 24th April we gathered together at the Kingston Restoration Branch in Queensland, Australia, for the Baptisms of Lauren, Ngaia and Micah Game. We met together in the morning for what was to be a very wet day weather-wise, though it did not dampen our spirits and began with the first of three services held throughout the day. Following the Baptism Service for each of our new members we convened for lunch outside, hiding together under the shelter to avoid the downpour of rain. After lunch, each new member was Confirmed and our final service of the day was to share in their first Communion. It was lovely to meet together for this special occasion and to witness the Covenants made by them.
