This class demonstrates some interesting parallels between the symbolic/visual components of Lehi’s vision and the prophecy given to Nephi regarding Jesus Christ and the future of Lehi’s descendants.
The deep testimony of Jesus Christ plus the complex literary structure of the account, interweaving these different symbolic elements, provides additional testimony to the truth of the Book of Mormon narrative.
