Prayers Answered for Jacob Hummel - Thank You
I wanted to let you know that our prayers have been answered. Thank you. My son Jacob had his knee surgery today and although I spent almost 5 hours waiting in the car (because the hospital aren't allowing in anyone but patients) he walked out just 2.5 hours after the procedure, got in the car and we were allowed to go home. It has been a long day and all we've done since is eat and sleep but he seems to be doing very well. He's not needed any pain relief since, and the procedure ended up costing $7,500 instead of the $15,000 we were expecting. It is still a huge cost but couldn't be avoided and we were much relieved that it's significantly less than the estimate we were given. He's been given some time off work (a few weeks so far) and hopes to return soon to complete the last 6 months of his 4 year apprenticeship. And so I continue to ask for prayers for a full recovery for him.
Thank you for your continued prayers. It is greatly appreciated and gives us much comfort just knowing that people are praying for him.
