Zionworks News, Friday, June 23

Although the Gadianton Robbers Have Obtained
The Sole Management of the Government
And the Majority of Society
Follows along and sees no ill,
The Righteous Are Also There.
They Survive the Wars,
They Survive the Famine,
They Have Gifts/Revelations Daily,
They Hear the Good Tidings.
Marvelous Words unto them are spoken.
They Survive the Storm and the Earthquake.
They are there to Greet the Lord at His Coming
(Helaman 1-5; 3Nephi 1-4)

We know that we live in a dark and cloudy day. The scriptures, particularly Isaiah and Nephi, warn of increasing wickedness in the last days fostered and promoted by Satan’s secret combinations, such that even the elect will barely escape. When the Lord bares His arm, those whose feet are still planted in the world will suffer greatly. It then behooves us to take whatever measures possible to extricate ourselves from the worldly system at large and to keep our eyes upon establishing the cause of Zion.

Zionworks seeks to experiment upon God’s word to prepare for the calamitous days ahead both spiritually and temporally. We welcome all to join our efforts as we explore ways to work together to become more independent of Babylon.

Summertime affords many opportunities to draw closer to the Lord. Our prayers are for those families and youths that are attending reunions and camps that we might become one in our efforts to establish the cause of Zion.

We enjoyed beautiful weather for our workday, Saturday, June 17. We were

able to help with greenhouse construction and also some yardwork. On our agenda for our next meeting is not only to plan a follow up on the greenhouse project but to establish a regular active project schedule to facilitate helping one another to be better stewards of our blessings and resources. We will also discuss plans to visit the Milkweeds Farm, date TBA.

Our next meeting will be Sunday, June 25th at 2.00 pm.

Location: Central Branch, 1219 Delaware, Independence, MO.

We will discuss our preparations, our gardens, and future projects.

Looking ahead, We will not plan to meet the first Sunday in July, putting our families first during our nation’s celebration of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. May we all commit to rereading that glorious document and to pray for our nation. We long for the day when our rights and blessings as a nation are again self-evident.

NEEDED

Workers are needed in all areas of civilized life for Zion. God’s place of safety and refuge is an urgent present need for those from around the world and nearby. All of the scriptures about Zion’s establishment speak in practical terms about do-able work and attainable spiritual growth. They speak clearly to each of us with expectancy of our willing response and with promise of joy and fulfillment in the work.

Remember, STOCK UP WHILE YOU CAN. Bring any interesting or intriguing items to the bartering table at the meetings.

‘Looking forward to seeing you Sunday.
