Kingdom Kids

Kingdom Kids

Dear Saints,

I was so impressed with all of the children that prayed during the Solemn Assembly.  It really touched my heart.  I believe that children’s prayers are very precious to the Lord and important to His Kingdom.

A couple years ago, the Lord put a huge burden on my heart for the young people in the church, baptism age to teens. (My testimony is here)  Through a series of testimonies, Kingdom Kids began at our branch.  Soon after, we began to have some Kingdom Kid meetings one Saturday each month with kids from various Restoration Branches, open to all.  Of course, everything came to a screeching halt in mid-March.

This summer, after many activities were canceled because of Covid-19, I felt like the Lord said, “Invite the kids, youth helpers and adults. You have outdoor space at Living Hope Restoration Branch.  Use it. Come and I will be there.”

I felt a huge push to get together, learn scripture, learn to pray, pray together and draw strength from our associations with other praying children.

God was faithful and He taught us so much!  Here are some of the topics of prayer we have covered:

Be Rooted and Grounded in Love

Do the Most Good With the Gifts You Have

Praise

Repentance

Forgiveness

Fruit of the Spirit comes from a repentant heart

We usually have time to sing together, pray, learn, and have some fun.  We would love to have more kids come to participate.  If you and your children (ages 8-12) are interested, feel free to come to Kingdom Kids at Living Hope, Saturday, October 10th from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. Parents, if you want to stay and observe or participate, especially the first time, you are welcome.

I would also be happy to share with anyone who would like to start their own Kingdom Kids at their branch or with kids in their area.  Please contact me if you would like to know more.
