Hello, IIAW and Unity Center Friends,
Here is Saralee Rhoads' post for COLLABORATE EXTENDED HANDS' next event.
May 25 at 5pm, NORTHERN BOULEVARD UNITED METHODIST CHURCH will host our May COLLABORATE EXTENDED HANDS meeting. This church ministry houses Ruth's Pantry, an outreach to the homeless and disadvantaged in our community. THeir address is 1800 Northern Boulevard, Independence, MO, Come learn about Ruth's Pantry and other things NBUMC is doing to sustain our neighbors.
Ruth's Pantry Needs:
Canned Chicken
Vienna sausage
Oatmeal
Shelf milk
Peanut butter
Jelly
Bread
Canned fruits and vegetables
Pie filling
Instant mashed potatoes
Boxed dinners
Pie filling
Deodorant
Wet wipes
Cat food
We will be delivering our items directly to them at our next meeting, May 25, 5:00 pm
