ZIONWORKS NEWS for MAY 24, 2023

Hello everyone,

‘Just want to give you a summary of the meeting last Sunday and some updates. We spent a couple of hours last Sunday with each attendee relating what they felt the Lord revealed to them as a result of fasting and praying for direction in our efforts together to do our part in making Zion a spiritual, kinetic and known reality. Here is what was expressed: It was unanimously recognized that many of the refugees fleeing to the United States are those prophesied that will flee to Zion for safety and refuge. There are also refugees from many of our own cities seeking a place of righteousness, where they can find safety and refuge and contribute to the well-being of all there. So, we were re-strengthened in the logic and Message that there must be a place for them to flee to and cooperate in; and that we have the responsibility to build that place, even though we have very limited resources. Or do we?

It was expressed that, now and in previous years, there have been visions and understandings that as God’s children gather near the Center place they will need shelter and survival assistance as they travel and arrive at Zion. It was also reiterated that we need to get out of Babylon, to have our personal storehouses in addition to a general storehouse, to help each other and to work together. We were made aware of more recent prophecies of more pending plagues, starvation and deadly deprivation unavoidably approaching our own land and that only the sincere and sanctified will survive. We were told that God has said, ”I will give you control of the Kingdom to the degree that you give yourselves to me.” And that we are told that we should be living in joy in the midst of affliction! It was mentioned that we can look at the Amish as an example and inspiration for off-grid living as well as scripture. It was also discussed that all people around the world that seek truth, righteousness, safety and justice are those that Christ calls his people.

We broke our fast together with a dedicatory prayer and enjoyed some new potatoes with cheese provided by sister Blessing.

Jerry Webb reported that though he had injured himself last Monday in a fall and had symptoms of internal injuries, that after the laying-on-of-hands and the prayers of many people, he is mobile and nearly pain-free.

CALENDAR

Because this coming weekend is Memorial Day weekend, there will not be a meeting on Sunday, May 28th.

Our next meeting will be on June 4. It will be held at Zarahemla Branch in Blue Springs at 2:00 pm. At the meeting, Bob Moore will present an outline for Zionic living and thriving through coming disasters. This will be very interesting, reinforcing and encouraging. Bob has offered the use of six of his acres for a permaculture enterprise for the purpose of feeding the saints. He will be explaining the plan. Zarahemla Branch is located at 502 SW 17 Street in Blue Springs.
