ZIONWORKS NEWS APRIL 4, 2023

FOR BRINGING TOGETHER ALL OF THOSE WANTING AND NEEDING ZION. AN INVITATION.

Dear friends,

As the world of Babylon collapses and our security and freedoms disappear, as we wonder if we will be able to keep any money, keep our homes and even have food to eat in the near future, one outstanding truth remains sure and unchanging: God’s love. He told us these world and national disasters were coming and how to escape them. He also has always told us that our dedication to him must be with ALL OF OUR HEART, MIGHT, MIND AND STRENGTH. Zion will not become a reality for us by any less measure of personal dedication.

If you exhibit this level of dedication or obsession in any endeavor, a local Missourian is likely to tell you ”You’re ate up!” That’s a compliment, not a criticism. Any time the Lord gives you a task or responsibility, you can be sure that he has given you the authority to do it and has prepared the way for its accomplishment --- even though it may tax and try you to the limit of your capacities…and beyond. As Harry Truman said, “Keep working on a plan. Make no little plans. Make the biggest one you can think of, and spend the rest of your life carrying it out.” With or without friends to work with in these plans, you must run with your responsibilities. Fortunately, you have friends to uphold you and share the vision, the work and its satisfaction.

CALENDAR

Next meeting: This Sunday, May 7th, 2:00 pm at Central branch, 919 S. Delaware, Independence. It is planned to be a serious coordination meeting for the basic survival needs of the innocent and obedient. We can also discuss what we are growing this year including the merits of wheat grass, winter wheat, stevia, burdock, Eikorn wheat and other plants with specific value in coming conditions. We will be prepared for the meeting while leaving the actual content and format to Jesus, so be prayerfully prepared for anything!

REMEMBER

Bring bartering items to exchange at the meeting.

Stock up while we can.

These will be good items to discuss at the meeting.

Very important: Have write-ups ready for the website. Presently, these committee topics include gardening, food sourcing, food production, food preservation, water, shelter, bartering, skills and trades, medical, sanitation, transportation, and communication.

QUOTES AND SCRIPTURES

“I wonder how far Moses would have gone if he had taken a toll? What would Jesus have preached if he’d taken a poll in the land of Israel?” Harry Truman. (And what if we wait for popular approval to perform our God-given opportunities and responsibilities?)

“For behold, I say unto you, That as many of the Gentiles as will repent, are the covenant people of the Lord; and as many of the Jews as will not repent, shall be cast off; for the Lord covenanteth with none save it be them that repent and believe in his Son, who is the Holy One of Israel.” 2 Nephi 12:77-78
