Weekly Spiritual Warfare Class

Sister Elsie Hensley will begin offering weekly classes on spiritual warfare, using material from her book Deliverance. This is a topic that is not popular, nor is it well understood among church members in our day. We lack experience and knowledge. Yet how often did the apostle Paul preface his statements by saying, "I would not have you ignorant, brethren..." It was Paul who said, "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." Ephesians 6:12. The upcoming meetings will cover some tricks/deceptions of the devil's army, what invites them, how to get rid of them, why some people are not delivered, as well as some personal testimonies. Time: Tuesdays at 7pm. The first class will start next Tuesday May 14. Place: Gospel Park Restoration Branch. Located on the corner of 23rd St and Holke Rd in Independence.
