From the Founders

This Tuesday, December 3rd, people around the world will celebrate Giving Tuesday. Giving Tuesday started seven years ago as a movement, encouraging people to give. This generous event has raised more than $400,000,000 online in the United States since 2012.

Three Ways to Support OHF on Giving Tuesday:

1. Donate. Help celebrate Giving Tuesday with a donation to Owl Hollow Farm! Your donation will stay local, directly impacting the lives of children in our community. Every dollar counts.

2. Volunteer. We are equally gracious for the donation of time! Owl Hollow Farm is a volunteer-run program, and we never turn down assistance. Please visit our volunteer page to get involved.

3. Share. Word-of-mouth of powerful. Share this newsletter, our social posts and tell your friends and family about our program.

Owl Hollow Farm offers two, nine-week equine-assisted mentoring sessions from April through October each year. Each child that comes to Owl Hollow Farm is paired with a horse and a mentor that best fits their personality and needs. The child may groom, feed, ride or just sit and talk to the horse under the supervision of their mentor. By learning to care for an animal, children learn independence and responsibility and can begin to care for their own emotional needs.

Every donation helps to care for the horses and participants at Owl Hollow Farm. Please visit the OHF Facebook page on Tuesday, December 3rd to donate during this year's Giving Tuesday Fundraiser. Thank you for your kindness and generosity!

Blessings,
Cathy White
OHF Founder

At Owl Hollow Farm, we provide two nine-week seasons of equine-assisted mentoring sessions each year to teach important life-skills such as independence and personal responsibility through horsemanship and caring for an animal.
