CPCT announces AUDITIONS for:
“Twelve Seats at the Table”
. . . a play based on Da Vinci's masterpiece The Last Supper
Directed by Matthew Emerick
Join us in this rare opportunity to portray one of the twelve original disciples of Jesus Christ this Easter season. Delve into the characters of the men who walked and talked with our Savior. This production aims to inspire audience members to join us in worship, and to meditate on the life of Jesus as told from the perspective of his closest followers.
Who? Men (high school & up)
When? AUDITIONS: Fri, March 8th; 6-8 pm & Sat, March 9th; 10 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
READ-THROUGH (1st rehearsal) - Thursday, March 21st at 7:00 p.m.
PERFORMANCE: Thursday, April 18th ~ 7:00 p.m.
Where? Living Hope Restoration Branch 2425 ½ Crysler Ave., Independence, MO
Format? Cold reads of monologues (selections from the script provided at the audition)
Rehearsal schedule? Actors will memorize their lines (monologues) outside of practice, and rehearse once per week, until performance week.
Misc. Information - This is a one-act play with a runtime of approximately 40 minutes. There will also be opportunity for worship with special music, hymns and scriptures. This is a free event - a gift from CPCT to its supporters and the community.
