We are seeking qualified candidates for the position of Maintenance Technician in Independence, MO.

This position requires the maintenance of our properties to be attractive, safe, clean and at the highest of operational performance. Achieve high levels of tenant satisfaction. Assures heating, cooling, ventilation, security, and fire alarm systems kept in good working order. Maintain, company equipment, vehicles, and tools in good working condition. Vacuum, dust and clean common areas. Perform general property maintenance including, but not limited to: replacing filters and light equipment, painting, plumbing, electrical services and light snow removal or landscaping.

Requirements:

Basic reading, writing, arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through 2+ years experience or a 2-year trade school degree or certificate program.
Position requires demonstrated skill in commercial construction. Must possess accuracy and attention to detail. Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving.
Personal Characteristics: Organized, team player, customer service orientated.
