Donations needed for Standing Rock Reservation, North Dakota
Team Jesus is collecting donations for Standing Rock Reservation on Monday and Tuesday, July 1st and 2nd at the Unity Center of Independence, 803 W. 23rd Street. They are in need of box fans for the elderly up there. Also sewing machines, household goods, summer clothing, shoes, fabric, thread, tools, non-perishable food, bottled water, toiletries, cleaning supplies.
The Unity Center drop off is located at the back of the building. Turn south on Union, and then right into the parking lot. The entrance is on the north end of the parking lot. Pastors Billy Tharp and Brian Carline will be on hand to receive the donations.
The Team Jesus caravan will take off for Standing Rock Wednesday, July 3rd.
