From: Erica Bailey emb1flautist@aol.com SCRB Zion's League SHOE DRIVE Hello Saints! Have you heard about our SHOE DRIVE? The South Crysler Restoration Branch Zion’s League has set a goal to collect 2,500 pairs of gently used shoes for people in need. The shoes will supply inventory for micro-enterprises in impoverished areas around the world. 150 pairs of shoes provide enough inventory for one family to open a little shop and change their lives. Will you help us help others? All it takes is a peek in your closet for those shoes you don’t wear anymore. All styles and sizes are accepted. Shoes must be in pairs and in good shape – no holes or tears please. How do you donate your used shoes? Several congregations have agreed to help out, and you may have noticed a drop off box in your foyer or fellowship hall. That’s the perfect place to put your donation. If there is no drop off box available to you, you can bring your donation to South Crysler RB any Sunday (8:30 am-12:30pm & 5:30 pm-7:30 pm) or Wednesday (6:30-8:30 pm). We have a donation box in the upper foyer and the lower foyer. If you don’t have time to get your donation to SCRB, give Erica Bailey a text/call (816-686-6257), and she will come pick them up. Just let her know when you will leave them on your front porch in a plastic bag. Our shoe drive ends December 23. Thank you for donating your used shoes and helping us meet our goal!
